ya prices would definitely drop. even if the gov't taxes the hell out of it, it isn't going to make a difference to all the people who grow and sell out of their house. number of growers will skyrocket and everyone will have pot so there won't be too heavy of a demand for it. it will always be around. smoke shops will lose a lot of business as well, as people will now be able to just go to a buddies and get some pot off him, or just grow their own with no worries!

it wont happen.. too many major corporations will lose out, alcohol sales will go down, cigarette sales will go down, local and state govs will make less money off of tickets and fines etc.. its wishful thinking but i dont think the fed will let it go down even if cali tries to pass it

In 15-20 years mayby less, cannabis will be legal for adults in most of the western world. I am from Denmark, and here the goverment is talking about legalizing it to avoid all the crime attached with marihuana-trade.
New polls has shown that 58% of the people wants cannabis to be legalized!

The revolution is on its way! Live green, talk green & smoke green! :D

So i was just on norml.org and Massachusetts is trying to do the same thing. Just how the states went one by one to make it illegal they are going one by one to make it legal again:hump:

Good point Flojo but i would have to say that there would be a huge surge in the sales of candy, soda, and baked goods (baked...haha).

Fuck the alcohol and tobacco industries for fucking us all over for years

GrowTech

stays relevant.
The proposal is heard and voted on March 31st.

The proposed LIMIT for growing license is: $5,000

So it could be as low at $250.00... We don't know yet.

Fortunately the proposed is a short text that is clear and easy to read. So voting on it should not take a long time.

What I think need to be examined is the penalties for selling to a minor, or having a minor tending the crops.

thats great they are voting so soon. i kinda expected them to vote in like 2010.

I would think that the penalties would be just as harsh a a kid helping tend to a tobacco field for sale and production. Selling to a minor i would guess they would get a fine and court date just like alcohol.

thanks for all this great information guys, keep the convorsation up bongsmilie

Just let me get another job before this passes... Because there will be a whole lot of people in prison getting out to compete with here in Cali for the minimal job's available after the vote.
Fuck it Im growing for me anyway. And Im sure as hell not going to pay a 5000$ growing fee. They can lick my nuts. If im not selling it then why should I be taxed? so what do I care.

prices will drop obviously, i don't know it'll still be illegal federally so i don't know how much major prices will change in the short run, but give it a few years and for sure! prices will drop!

but if you're still worried about being hunted down by the DEA, you charge a premium for that

i agree with you boys BUT you have to understand to it would be alot easier to just walk in and buy it then get it the easy way and get stopped and pay extra when they FINE YOU...........so im happy with the idea to get it with out cops able to be a smart ass about it
BESIDES ONCE WE DO I BET YOU THE COPS START SMOKING IT TO .........
