Hey everybody who is using LEDs out there. Lets join up and start chattin about this and that. Figuring crap out. Seeing what works for you, but not me, etc. etc.

It would be much appreciated if only people who USE CURRENTLY leds for mostly full grows, or vegetative grows using only LEDs.

HID users, we already know you are better than us, and your buds are bigger than ours. But there is a first time for everything, and a new beginning at ever end of something old.

ALSO IF YOU ARE AN LED SALESMAN TRYING TO SELL YOUR PRODUCT THIS IS NOT THE THREAD FOR YOU! STAY AWAY! IF YOU ARE AFFILIATED WITH A COMPANY AND HAVE BIAS FEEDBACK WITHOUT RESULTS. STAY AWAY!

Thank you all, and I hope this thread EXPLODES in growth...

LED USERS UNITE!

Thanks for the info. But they are seedlings about 2 inches long have the light about 2 foot above them seem to be doing fine. This are the only light I have . Two days old .humidity 75. Temperature 75 f. .don't what to muck it up.

Look at cutter for strips / rigs also . Strip builds are becoming more popular with growers and builders.
Many new offerings have latest bins and osram chips. DIY can make your grow light customized to your spaces and needs and makes upscaling easy.

Quantum , Atreum , Bava , Flotop , SolStik , etc.

There many great ready to hang rigs also. Try to avoid being too cheap and looking at amazon only.

on another forum I offered to send a Real QB 288 to anyone using a Chinese ripoff. One person said they would then backed out....

I'll pay the extra for an HLG board just for the warranty and the outstanding customer service. NONE of the Chinese companies can match them in fact, most try everything they can to not have to fix or replace anything.

Plea to emotion. Not an argument. Semantics.

Someone show me a side to side versus Chinese Samsung’s/quantum’s.

Nobody can and nobody will. Because the results will be the same.

Those TS units are not the best in efficiency, but not completely horrible, not a very durable build though. The price reflects that to some extent. You could do worse.

Are samsung's chips the best?
I don't like DIY. I like plug and play lights. My friend recommended TS3000 to me
depends on how you define best...
Samsung, Cree, Nichia, all make great chips. You get what you pay for, they all make budget chips and budget versions of the good chips too.

I’ll take the board and do a side by side. I run Meijiu and Bava.

Guaranteed results will be the same. Otherwise it would have been done and advertised to every Tom, Dick and Harry already by the HLG fanboys.

You are correct, warranty is difficult with Chinese boards.
