Does Australia have magic J series 3030's? 195lpw from the jk3030?? Not seeing that anywhere, in person or specs. Even at the cold start min output, they aren't hitting those numbers.

Why not grab some H-influx strips over F strips if F's are getting price gouged so much right now? Can push the 301b's or the 561c's pretty good and still get better efficiency than a J series chip ran softer.

Okay, boyz 'n gals! It's time to present my current light cause it's ready to use!
I first thought I should create an own thread but decided against. I can not show any plants anyway so this thread is the best place. If anyone have questions feel free to ask what you want.
It consists of 20x 2ft. F-Series strips/3000°K/CRI80 in 10s2p to one HLG-240H-C1050B and 8x Blux V18c COB's in 3000°K/CRI90 to a HLG-120H-C500B, approximately 400w net., 440w total.View attachment 4111187 View attachment 4111188 View attachment 4111189 View attachment 4111190 View attachment 4111191 View attachment 4111192 View attachment 4111193 View attachment 4111198 Than I've added a 39w UV-A/B reptile T5HO tube and a 730nm Flower-Trigger, consisting of 6x Cree XP-E's on a 5w driver. Main light, UVB tube and flower trigger are all connected via Sonoff timers and controlled via ewelink app. Currently I run some stability tests and if all works as expected I will sell it to a friend who's already waiting.

Very nice. Really like the UVB but have no clue how much to use.

A mix of 3k and 3.5k works for me.
Not enough strips for a 240h24B driver. Somewhere between 9-12 strips from my experience.
My example, 9 f-series strips ran by a HLG240H24B.

If you want to run 6 stripes than a LPV-150-24 would be my choice of driver. Not dimable and not as efficient as a HLG but for a 2x2 that would be my choice.
Are those the same strain? Looks like under the "blurple" array the buds have way less leaf, or way less trimming to do..

.

I guess I'm a moron because when I use the search function I only come up with a couple of things.
The RIU search bar sucks. Go to Google and type in whatever you're looking for there, and then just add "rollitup" to the end of your search item and Google does a much better job at finding the threads pertaining to your subject than the RIU search bar. That's at least what I do. Works great.

Anyone wanna do some flux testing?

I got a board they won't refund until they are tested I guess. Trying to buy a replacement so I can send one of the originals off for 3rd party confirmation.

Trying to tell me I got Cs6 when you can clearly see the ESD in about 50% of em.

I know this is a old thread but Im digging some green gold in these comments!!!!!
Thanks for the info if someone hasn't told you enough. :)

With all do respect. If you're going to buy a new light. Have you considered that maybe you think these lights you have here are doing a good job only because you've never tried anything else? I say this only to help you out, for real!
If you switch to white light now & not add anymore of those, you may get lucky & be able to mix them together for a decent enhanced spectrum & not feel like the burples were a total waste.
Because I can pretty much assure you (select burple quality comp. are good) that you will be much happier using white or a mixed (burple n white) And so will your plants.
I tried both side by side & the white light did 2/3's better.

Hey guys. I need some advice. I'm about to blow a decent sized wad on a "Fatty VS" from timber, 1300 dollars to be exact for a 5×5×8 tent. I've had people tell me that" DIY Quantum boards" are the way to go because they can be better personalized for my tent. IDK, I've done quite a bit of research on lights lately and the fatty feels right. I just want a good powerful grow light that save me more money than my HID alternatives. Thanks for any help

Its a good light.

Lotta ppl build something similar for cheaper but that depends person to person. QBs are legit, but again you'll be building it out yourself. LED strip fixtures are popular and very good lights too. QBs are pretty much just strips sandwiched together on one board.

I prefer COB’s, to quantum boards, and I’ve used both.

I run with tent open a lot and would be concerned about light escaping and projecting on window blinds. Not tried any and run several COBs and a couple old A51 Cree panels with no trouble there.
