Where did you get your panel? Give us some info if you can? Color blends, diode wattage, etc.

The idea behind this thread is to unite LED users....

Were in the future guys! There are a few units that work wonders! I can tell you after one day of being under the Prosource Jumbo 180W, things are loving it!

Check into prosource, and check into the Jumbo or larger LED light. Remember guys, we want power here, think of a 90W, now think of a 180W for a few more bucks you get twice the bang.

Keep posting! Keep informing! Keep going!!

Is the jumbo somewhere in the 14" diameter range? I've got my cabinet, and the jumbo seems pretty elite, but I just need it to fit the space. The space is 19", but i have about 15" where the light will go. Should I just stick with the 90w, or what?

Jumbo is 14" Dia. But it vents out the sides of the unit as air in drawn in from the top, by four fans. So. Tight fits are most likely not the best scenario for it.

I dunno what else to tell you bro, I have just begun the testing, so I am basically in your same boat. I am all for the prosource 180 tho...for my scenario

will 2 90w LED ufo's be enough for 20 kush clones on soil
I don't think it would be the best light available. But I would imagine there would be some yield present. Lot of factors there Rookie, provide more information for further feedback.

How big are these containers? How big is the area? Etc. etc etc

Try making your own fixtures its not to difficult if you know how to solder. I took 100 some from my tech class.

Hi oarngesownall,

Thanks for your input, but it is more of a statement at the rate at which you have applied it. How about some more information towards the creation of our own fixtures? Can you provide helpful search tips? Ideas on where to being? Examples of what others have done?

We are all here to learn, so fill is in if you can. If not, just relax and let some users of leds get the drift of whats going on here...

Thanks again for your input, and I hope we can learn more from you.

Depends on what UFO's you are looking at Rookie? Your best bet would to have some kind of enclosure to help you reflect the light back to your plants, decide on an area and whatnot, and go from there. I think you need to figure out where your going to setup, before you start thinking about lighting some unknown area...

Keep diggin! You will get there!

Rookie,

Sweet. If you already have it bro, all you can do it set that shit up and see what happens! That light needs to hang around 6"-12" away from the canopy though. So keep that in mind when it comes to area coverage...

Surely there are more people out there using LEDs. Step up people. Anybody using LEDS who is not selling them can speak up!

Quick Review of Prosource Jumbo 180W UFO- Very solid looking. Great cooling. Very quite operation. The little switches are pretty sweet to tone is down for say, seedlings and such, maybe a low light fern or some junk. Anyhow. I can only say good things as of day 2 with the PS light.

Just my two bits.
