So I'm starting an auto flower grow and will start the journal when I'm allowed (still gathering materials now)
It's AK48 auto flower (I hear they're great for newbs, true I am a newbie) going to use 3-3gallon buckets n fox farm trio for nutes. I haven't decided on soil yet but I'm looking at some organic ones gonna add mykos to that as well. And what lights you ask?

Mars hydro brand 300W LED Grow Light for Indoor Plants Growth and Flowering

LEDs: 60*5 WLEDs
Dimension: 11.8*7.9*2.75inches
Lumen: 7150lumens
Coverage: 2*2ft( Veg), 2*2ft(Flowering)
Power consumption: 110V: 130W
Amp: 1.59A/110V, 0.81A/220V
Voltage Capable: AC85~265V
View Angle of LEDs: 90(blue&red)/120°(white) Mixed

Now I know what NONE of that means lol so do u guys think it'll b a good light to grow 3 plants under with 4 CFLs (one on each side for lower dark spots). I was thinking of two for the three plants but it says 7000+ lumens and I read somewhere 1000 lumens per sq ft was a gud rule of thumb. So what do u guys think? With a journal so u guys can tell me where I'm going wrong and that light I'm thinking I can harvest at least 2 zips outta each plant. (PS. Before u flame me, ik u can't predict the yield and that's not what I'm asking.) Also I'm thinking of doing 1 of the 3 in an air injection technology pot. Anybody tried that? Thx in advance fellas (and fellETS?) I attached a pic of the light

Read my Sig. Mars are junk, for more info on this, go to the Indoor section, subsection LEDs. You will find what you need there.

Can't afford the top quality led. I'll avoid the mars brand and probably stick with CFLs. 3 auto ak48 how many CFLs would u suggest?

Jus noticed nobody's commented on the AIT I said I'd be trying. No input anyone?

I really think you should build your own LED. Lots of really cool guides and people willing to help in the LED forums.

for the same price you can build a light that will kick the mars hydro LED out....

then again you could buy 1 of these. i am no way a salesman for them but i bought some lights form them a couple years ago and they are still awesome. http://www.a51led.net/product/area-51-led-w90-pre-order

make your own 100w 5000k or 3000k cob led grow one to 4 plants under it and upgrade

or get a 600w hps and a really good fan and filter combo

Yeah I think I'm gonna try to make one and if that doesn't fair well I'll just go cfl all the way thru.

Just my two cents, but if it is the one plant and you have the space, try a 400 watt hps.... 150 bucks... http://www.amazon.com/SPL-Horticulture-Hydroponic-Dimmable-Reflector/dp/B018JMY5GU/ref=sr_1_20?ie=UTF8&qid=1457811464&sr=8-20&keywords=400+watt+hps+light+kit in the end, the yield will be better than cfl.. I did cfl for a while and the hps is way better... or if you have space, go a bit bigger on the hps for future grows... jusy a thought.
Its 3 plants, I jus want to try the AIT on one. But I'm not going the HPS route, I know they're better but I don't want to have to deal with the heat or the higher electrical bill. So I'm headed over to some of the other threads about CFLs and diy LED.

Thanks to everyone who came out to help, thanks for the info. Anything to add I'm always open to learn (from ppl who know what they're talking about) ✌
