Led Growing Is The Way Of The Future My Friends

I never said it would flower well or not,I said it should flower under any spectrum as long as there's some PAR in it...the problem is his plants aint flowering at all...so Bad Karma no offense, but I'm pretty sure I know more about plants/growing than you, stop trying to correct me,cos you keep looking like a noob.

@Harrekin AND Bad Karma.............I'm pretty sure I speak for everyone reading this thread when I say that we are all sick of you two arguing, it's fucking childish and makes both of you look like children.

Try to be adults and see past your differences please.......

I havnt said anything to him in fairness except in response to his flaming. Im just trying to help the guy out whos plants arnt flowering and getting it in the ear off BadKarma constantly.

Ok, i stand corrected on my PAR thing. English isnt my first language obvisiously and i misunderstood as its a bit differnt (technical terms) where i`m from.
Thanks for pointing that out.

Sorry for trying to keep the thread on topic and factually correct information flowing, I'll cut that out now.
Have fun exchanging ideas with folks who pretend to know what they're talking about and are far too ignorant to actually google anything.

It's just I dont understand your problem with everything I say,I'm not lying, everything I say is factual and none of it dissing LEDs...fair enough earlier in the thread I may have come off as "abrasive" but once real life honest facts and figures started coming up I said fair enough and put my hands up as proven wrong.

So just let it go man, stop ragging on me and just join in the conversation,I'm sure we've all plenty to learn off each other here.

We all know the forum is going downhill with everyone arguing all the time, differences of opinion are merely that, differences of opinion. We can all learn from each other so lets try to be nice.

People also spend too much time talking about the fact that they are arguing without contributing to the LED talk in their posts :P

On that note, sry I haven't been keeping you guys up to date on my grow. I started a summer job and the hours have kept me from my plants for almost all the daylight hours. I haven't been able to take care of them as well as I would like, and I learned some new lessons. I should have some stuff to show u tomorrow

PS: Anyone have any links to any cannabis grows with one of those newer Kessils?

Anyone run side by aide ceramic metal halide with top of the line led and compare quality? I don't care bout kw*hr. In my experience color rendering is crucial for quality and I don't think less have matched cri yet, id love to be proved wrong

so just ordered a 290w spectra from mike at GLH and i live in canada and was charged a 50$ "international" shipping fee ..... dont mind paying it cause i got a great price but has anyone else in canada got the same charge? just makin sure im not getting ripped off.

Posting this as a conversation starter, not because I necessarily agree with Ed on this one. IMO his statements are probably true about older dual and tri band lights but the 100w ufo I got from GLH has 12 different wavelengths, my hydroponics hut pannels 7 different bands. I've gotta think this has me hitting on most cylinders with just leds. I also don't know when this video was taken so it could be several years old.

ya might be old, there are led lights out there i believe now that use a green spectrum probly amber too thats close too red, cant say for sure but i think ive heard it tossed around.

I actually feel dumber after watching that clip of Ed talking about leds. Ed is just too old now for his own good. Same thing with jorge cervantes, maybe these guys were the pioneers back in the day, but I don't take their advice anymore. Pretty sure the leds he was talking about are the old dual band with only red and blue. Yes, many leds now include green and orange which is probably the amber color ed mentioned.
