im not even sure where to start, your panels look as cheap as your web page and its quite obvious you order the parts put it together and then mark it up 100% or more ..... go push your shit somewhere else man this thread is for spreading led knowledge not selling your overpriced crap.

I dunno, I've on been growing for 3 months now and i've now got 250 MH/HPS. Cost me 100$. 2 fans cost me 5$ to cool it, 1 would probably do fine. Either way, my point being, If you wanna grow 2-3 plants in a little closet, You can use MH/HPS without any overheating issues. And frankly, my plants are LOVING 27c daytime temps. And my Hydro costs me like 8$ extra per month so its hardly and issue. I haven't seen my yeild yet, but the buds looks super dense and i'm expecting at least an oz from my first plant. Check out my TBOX on youtube and here are some pics.
first 2 pics Purple Kush day 35 12/12 last pic is same plant at around day 25 ish

totally agree man small spaces small number of lights and or 1 your not gonna run into to big of problems , but at the same time ya still gotta have a ballast and hood and crap , not to mention ya a 250w is very small im talking about running into heating issues with 600w or 1000w lights and even multiple of them ...stuff like that, i agree 250w watts shouldnt cost alot to cool nor should it really even cause heating issues in the first place.

Hi Dudes,

I will like to know: Can something like this: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/90W-FIVE-BAND-LED-GROW-LIGHT-UFO-90-WATT-5-BAND-UV-IR-/290723829304?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item43b07d9638#ht_2652wt_1186
really replace a 400 watt HID? I've tried 400 watt MH for vegetative stage along with HPS for flowering stage. I am wondering, does it can really replace both HID light with this little 90W Led light?

Experienced growers, please advice.

Thx.

Smokingdude.
Nah not even close..........probably won't even beat a 150w hps ........get a better quality led and have it's Actual panel draw around 70% of the HID as of 2012 tech......good luck

said it a bunch in this thread before but LED's for sure do work and work well but they are not a miracle light given from the ganja gods to make growing 100% more easy with 100% more yields , they are just new technology that target better spectrums of light for optimal plant growth while eliminating the need for excessive amounts of equipment to keep them cool as the are self contained self cooling units. when people ask me what waatage my leds compare to in hps i usually say that i dont know exactly but nor do i really care , if leds produce better than hps great! if they produce a bit less no worries! cause i didnt have to buy all the crap that comes along with hps growing and i have heard people say on many occaisions they find leds produce finer more high quality buds ...... and isnt that why we are doing this in the first place? it all comes down to whats gonna work best for each persons setup and wants/needs , so whatever works best for you and makes you happy is what you should use someone trys to tell ya different, fuck em.

I always outgrow my friends on same strains the bud room pics are of plants still 3 weeks from harvest.

id have to agree with damnecro leds and hid are comparible in price for sure that is if your not buying the bottom of the barrel HID crap. a good digital or electronic ballast can run ya 1-200 easy then a good air cooled hood is another 100$ , bulb 50$ , probly gonna need 2 inline fans 200$ , if your in a hot climate a little A/C unit wouldnt be out of the question and thats still on the pretty cheap end of things and then be ready to replace any of this stuff when it shits out on ya and all the electricity to run all of it per month it all adds up quick. if you can get better results at comparable prices then why not right?
