rofl i could do that now if the LED was actually consuming 1000 watts of power it would be rated as a 3000w led, at least the one i would purchase would be because i wont use anything but a 3w chipset on a panel, kessil on the other hand is a whole different ball game.

Has any one ever compared an LED to a ceramic metal halide? I bought the 240 watt black star and the buds were loose :/..though id love to see a comparison of an LED vs HID..if everything was the same except distance from plantsi think the led would destroy the HID.
U think led would distory HID?? HHMMM its one thing to say you think that LED will work as good but to say they will "destory" HID is just plain silly..... if they were destorying HID then everyone would be using them ....lol people would be saying "dam those LED just totaly destory HID" we would be telling people at the shop " hey dont buy the HID lights becasue LED's DESTORY them" LOL .......please be realistic now .....Really??

This is a "yes men" thread the only reason to come into this thread is to get other LED growers to tell you how great your LEDs are.....lol like a " yes man" what ever the question the anser is yes....Yes your LEDS are the best ...Yes they dnt compare to HID, yes 95% of growers dont get that LEDs are better....lol This is the " feel good " thread for leds growers there not interested in people telling them anything unless your agreeing that LEDS are the best........... I only come in here because this thread seems to have more Bias mis-informed people then any other thread on the site which i found amusing to read and respond......

Just cos these dudes clearly don't know anything about LEDs bar the shite they might have read before LEDs got good but there's no need to lash back.
To the two LED bashers here,a 3w chipset LED can match actual watt for watt with HID they're just 3-4x more expensive watt for watt...that's why not as many people use them...but they do match HID and only produce 15% of the heat (this is essential to some).
The data is there to support what I say,if you's are too ignorant to accept it then that's your personal problem.
And I'm a MH/HPS user btw so consider that before you respond

well obviously DUDE i do. I gave em a shot and they suck OBVIOUSLY!!! wtf is the obsession with led's? Are you people that cheap that instead of using the right light you wanna save a little money by using led's? Cause in the long run your yields will suffer so your only screwing yourselves
