2-5 plants on average every two weeks. First harvest is coming up, expecting around 4-6oz and after that expecting 4-6oz every two weeks. Sog is my favorite, thanks.

I just flushed every plant in my flowering room with Heavy amounts of water last night. Gave each plant 8 gallons of pH'd water. I flushed each plant until the run-off came out at 280PPM and 6.0PH. This flush was exactly what everyone needed, because they looked amazing this morning! This First set of plants are coming down in the next 2 to 3 weeks. 4 are coming out in two weeks, and 5 more in three weeks.

My second harvest is coming out in 4-5 weeks.
Here are the ones that have been in the flowering tent for 74 days. Showed sex around day 28, so have been "flowering" for 46 days.

Here are the ones that have been flowering for 4 weeks. They had 18-22 days veg and are coming down in 4-5 weeks.
This is the Black Girl. She was created by a Hermied Shy Girl polinating a Black Domina. Very strong seed, Very strong plant. The black domina has an incredibly high THC and a Pure Afganica/Indica, very short and bushy. The Shy Girl is a very skinny, tall pure Sativa. Mixing these two made amazing genes.

This is two female Jack the Rippers in one 5-gallon SmartPot. I transplanted them into this as soon as I saw both were females.

This is another Female Jack the Ripper, I just transplanted her into a 3-gallon container from a Tiny 1/2 gallon container. I have a feeling she will grow into a massive plant.

This is two female Jack the Rippers in one 5gallon container. There was a third in here several weeks back but it was small and needed to be removed.

very very nice BT! you have one of those really cool led lights? the one that chronic doom has? it looks like a ufo spaceship?
Congrats on a good flush and soon to be harvest.
I learned my lesson last harvest on flushing. I didnt and some of my herb was very very harsh.
Have you ever tried drowing as a flush before the end..? its a very cool way of flusing and curing. I did it on one of my lemon skunks last round suggested by 3eyes.. it really turned out awesome. I will be doing this again.
take it easy.

Hey amber, good to see you saw this journal! I flushed 15 girls in 4 hours, my back still hurts, but nothing some dank medicine wont fix. Flushing feels great though! I feel like I just started over in brand new soil with 6.0 PH and 280ppm. I have heard of drowning as a flush, but I wouldnt do it myself. The way I flush plants is give them 10-12 days of flushing with pH'd water, and leaving the soil to dry for the last 6-7 days. By letting the soil dry, the plant loses water density in its buds and leaves. Not only is this a great way to finish flushing, but it makes your drying times much faster! I can only imagine how long it takes to fully dry with drowning as a flush. Have you noticed this in your drying?

Hey BrokenTurtle,
Drowning is really interesting.
I was so scared to do it at first, it seemed so wrong, but i really respect 3eyes. when he told me that this is the way he does all his girls i knew i should give it a go.
It didnt take too much longer to dry the buds, i actually cant recall it taking any more time to be honest.
but i can tell a noticeable difference in taste, appearance, smell, potency.with the drowned herb. its really interesting. the drowned herb is better quality.
There is a noticeable difference.
3eyes can go into much greater scientific detail with this than i can i am sure.
It speeds up the curing process. and does a fantastic job.
i will most likely do this with all my 12/12 girls this round.
Happy flushing. lol.. and medicating you sore back.. hope u feel better soon.

Day 79. Harvest day is this Sunday, 6 days from now. They will be going into a dark room for 72 hours before harvest. Also got Jack Herrer and LSD coming into my tent as soon as these girls leave. Check out my Waterfarm Jack Herrer journal in my avatar. Both the JH and LSD have around one month veg on them.
There is also one other girl that I didnt take a picture of that will be harvested this Sunday. Total of six females, I might wait one additional week with two or three of them, but I will figure that out closer to sunday.

Thanks amber! I'm glad you like my pet miniature giraffe. Eats very little. I'm very happy to be harvesting all my plants. That one in the picture is a Jack the ripper with agent orange phenome. What im even more excited about is the next batch of plants I'll be harvesting, three weeks from this weekend. All in all, addicted to growing is the only words I can say.

Turtle, you are my new hero. I have finally been persuaded to try LED's, and your pictures and explanations are very helpful. I cannot thank you enough! Keep up the great work and have a fantastic Thanksgiving!

Hey growmo, I am very happy to see that you've stumbled on my journal. I love explaining and writing down my thoughts because it helps me stay organized, and I like that others can read and maybe find a different way to achieve similar results. I'm glad you like LEDs. One advice I can give to anyone who is going to try LEDs is that you will have to tune your growing accordingly to your LEDs. This has been my first grow so far with LEDs, and I can name so many things I will do differently on my next grow that will considerably increase my yield. If you have any questions or want me to blabber about what i found works well with these lights, let me know. I hope you happy holidays as well! Also, Stay tuned for Saturday/Sunday, I have two of my most favorite plants going into flowering.

I'm getting the Blackstar 240, how far would you recommend keeping it from the canopy? I'm going to have 2 plants and add a third in a month.

Hey ceaser, first of all, I am glad you're not trying to stick as much Plants as you can under a light. Two is great, and adding a third a month later is even better. Distance wise, I would keep it around 12 inches away. I have emphasized that these lights, especially the 240, does not have incredible penetration. Make sure to keep your canopy as even as you can. Top or lst up to you. You don't want to let them just grow on their own.

That sounds good, my grow tent is only 5 feet tall so I keep my plants relatively small. I've never topped or tried lst but I know for sure I'm topping both these plants.

My tent is exactly 5ft tall as well. I highly suggest the topin method of a gentleman named LBH. His topping tutorial in my opinion produces the best looking topped plants. He's a member on this site, check out his tutorials.

I am checking out LBH's topping tutorial, and I think it's about time to top for my 2 ladies. I will probably read the scrog too, but i don't think I can do a scrog as I'm trying to do a perpetual.
