try greners.com > just take a look, not saying order from here unless you want to, depends on your location for shipping costs but i always refer to this website for products. I trust the company. I have a 45watt LED panel made by "sunshine systems", this is the original 45watt one where they now have a 28watt with the same output. Havent looked up a comparison of the two but i do love my little 45watt panel, i paid $150 tops, between $140-150.. there are tons and tons of companies making these panels that you can find online like ebay, however i have always bin a name brand kind of guy in certain cases. If you purchase a cheap one for like $30 off ebay, you do not get the same customer service/support nore refund policies. They really aren't that much more expensive for peace of mind from sunshine systems. Sunshine systems have been making and testing these panels since 2007 so they know what they are doing. Hope this helps.

for some reason, have no idea why, i have had better results with a 400watt MH 3200k bulb flowering over a 400watt HPS flowering. To answer your question tho, adding lighting that isnt going to cause you any heat issues is always welcomed. I do not know how much of a difference it will affect your yeild tho.

ya thts too expensive for my blood thts why i was looking at the cheaper ones..i dont wanna go LED i just wanna see if theyll help. if im gunna spend $300-500 honestly im probly gunna hook a 1000w HID light up before id get a LED panel...i hear there great..just not for me..not concerned about energy consumption at the momment..i appreciate it tho man thanks!

You will find you need less hps when subbed with led...ive recently had oppertunity to experiment with this.i was suprised with my results, and still am, not sure how that would take to a larger grow but think it would seem to apply, inho i would do it!

The thing is with LEDS u cant really go to cheap unless u are going to order the leds and all that and make it yourself. because the cheap leds are 630nm red and u need 660nm for flowering so the 630nm dont quite help out. but if u can find 660 nm leds that are 3 watt for chea i say go for it but make sure they are 660nm :)

just wonder if the engery wud be wasted i was thinking somethign like hanging them on the sides of my bat wing reflector like at the same distance as my HPS would be so it wudnt block and light? wud it be effective

put them on the walls for side lighting, u can put them pretty close that way, id say its pointless to put them in there at the same height as ur hps
