    Thanks @Dave455 , @hillbill

Do you guys have links for me to browse? I tried amazon but the 3590's looked about $90 each so thats why it looked the same cost as the timbers after it was all said an done.

Is it reasonable to mount the cobs to plywood? Im thinking i could cut a piece to fit where the glass goes in my xxl hood an cool them exactly how i do the reg hps. Im assuming that would allow for smaller heat sinks and no extra fans an would shave a few % off the cost of the build.

    Mars Hydro of course. :o
Amare, HLG, FluenceBio, SpectrumKing has some new stuff, Timber, Chilled (I think, haven't seen much results) SunCloak, PLC & there's a bunch of companies that make knock offs of each of these. Some using quality components but mostly allot of false claims, tailight warranties, & 1.5+ gpw promises.
Most companies are starting to incorporate color enhancement to their whites. They just couldn't deny results forever. Others are going the 90CRI route instead. All Premium comp. are shooting for 2+ umol/j. Not all have obtained it but are trying.
It's a good time to get back into led.
Welcome back! Hell of a thread you started here.

I still have an Area-51 panel from waaaay back.... probably going to use it as my primary until I decide to pull the trigger on a new toy.... :) It barely has any whites. Believe it was 439W.....

Interesting that most companies are using primarily white now, I kind of figured it would go that way.

EDIT: Thanks, Hybrid! I believe I had the first post in the new LED section.... if it wasn't THE first... it was damn close... LOL
