Where is he going to find 480V service for that lamp? Lol
Ha ha like asking whare am i going to het service for a 1000 watt hid kit.... It is powered by the ballast and like many it is probably swichable between 120 and 240v. My question though is why pay 650 for a 315 when you can get a 630 de for 599?

Im sold on these lights but man do they want to charge an arm and a leg to ship to aus. Seems I'll be watching you guys use them until im ready to lay down $500+ for freight

4200k in veg. The plants in that pic ar 7 weeks old from seed. Sunday they are to be transplanted into 5 gal smart pots and put under the 3000R-RED
You prefer the 3000k r-red vs the 3100k?

Can't find sun system 315 kits locally(aus)? pretty popular..............growers choice fixture(630w) looks nice but it's NOT Phillips. They invented CMH tech(retrowhite) and DE (Greenpower). Just look at growers house test of several DE bulbs and Phillips was putting out the most umol/s . Same with the CMH tests, Phillips 3100k bulb is king not surprisingly.....veg through flower is what I would use

A little more shopping and I've managed to find the sun system's for around 670aud, which is fairly reasonable. But only in 120v, which I dont think is to much of a problem anyway.

Growers house have really gone above and beyond in there testing of bulbs haven't they. Opened my eyes to how superior the phillips are all around. Definitely getting a 3100k bulb now.

Cheers

Back in january i left a comment on a growtube roundtable vid asking what they thought of the
gc-630 and the only comment was something along the lines of a pretty good light. They must have had lots of questions abought it because like with mammoth p it looks like they are using it themselves now. I know for certin that medigrower1 and phnerdhave it up now and are impressed with it check out there latest vids if you want to see it in action

No. I got LED light and never looked back. Want mine? I have a few I've never even used...

The LEC lights, especially the 315W on square wave ballasts aren't bad, they're just obsolete.
I'm not doubting that but I still have one that needs to be used until it can be sold or given some other duty. I also have some COBs and I'll be pushing LEDs with all future purchases. It's still nice to see who uses them since they are still in circulation and need not be thrown away.

What is becoming "obsolete" is spectrum deficient COB/QB lights.....
Even the led peeps are figuring out that narrow spectrum and lacking UV and IR is not where it's at.
Sure cannabis will adapt to it but you are missing out in so many ways.
Especially you No-Till growers, shame on you preaching superiority of broad spectrum nutrition availability over synthetics while deliberately restricting your plants light diet!
