I noticed today that the leaves on my plant seem to be drooping/curling down ward. I only water my plant when the soil seems dry (2 times a week aprx). I have looked around and most say that when ur leaves curl down its ph/under feeding? is this correct? is this whats happening in my case? i have been running 12/12 from seed with 4 6500k cfls no nutes. The temps during the day do get a little high (70-81F) but there is no sign of heat stress that, i can see atleast. Other then the leaves curling a little the plant looks healthy so im kinda confused. Please feel free to tell me what ya think.

It appears you need to put it in a larger pot...if its taking 3-4 days for that tiny container to dry out there is something going wrong here...I hope you put holes in the bottom of them?

You don't have heat issues...that temperature is perfectly fine ;)

shes just around 2 weeks old, no perlite. I am currently using soil i had from last spring that i used for some outside plants. <--- i think this is prolly the problem i have no idea whats in that soil lol i almost ashamed to say it. I also am going to take the time to make my drainage holes a little bigger. Oh and im not sure if i mentioned but im not using any nutes atm.

then you are probably underwatering it...I put too much perlite into the grow I have going now and its making me water almost every day or I start getting the droopies quickly...but the day following a watering they perk back up...what do yours do after you water them?

she seems to grow alot the night after i water but doesnt rlly perk up as much as i would think. u have me set on underwatering, now that i think about it i feel like i havent been watering enough. i need to buy new soil and perlite as well, any brands you know of that would be in home depot/lowes besides miracle grow? i dont have any real grow stores around here that i know of and i dont think ill be able to order Fox farms. im gonna post link to this plants grow journal too i could use some ppl in their that know more then me.

Miracle Grow Organic soil is perfectly fine to use...Hell even regular miracle grow is fine...the issues with miracle grow soil is a) the stigma of miracle grow being BAD b) the time release nutrient balls...people overwater their plants releasing the nutrients in the balls and burn the shit out of their plants(MG organic doesn't have those). Heat + Water makes the balls break down quick...hell I throw time release nute balls straight into my nutrient water bucket and mix it up(I check PPM every time before I feed in case it needs to be diluted)...they stay there for a while in the winter because its about 45-50F down there and the balls have a hard time breaking down :D
