What about these? I can't comment on them since I haven't used them, only because I drain at the bottom makes me nervous, but this would work for you with the extra height for a chiller. What cha think? I'm sure you could permanently close the drain with putty and plumber tape and silicone, that way you won't have to worry about the drains integrity

There are a ton of different models, I'm sure you can find one that's the right fit. I was skeptical too when I bought my first troughs for a test run, but they are great, really.

Shit, it's boring sitting in a house that's packed up to move. Really. Fucking. Boring.

Anyone use myco Jordan or roots by elite 91? I'll be picking them up for the next crop. Seems to be the rage. The roots is a rooting compound and the myco Jordan is mycos that stimulate RAPID root growth on rooted clones. The roots is a compound that does not wash off the stem of cuttings at all. Pretty cool. I know you don't really need any hormones for clones and I usually don't use anything except tap water in the ez cloner, but I'm going to try because I've seen incredible results from it. The myco I'll be using at transplant into party cups to get a nice root structure. Then after I plant into 1.5gal pots I'll be going to sterile nute soup. But a good start is the best thing you can do.

I finally have my room clean and no bugs or issues, I'm hoping to take the veg starts to a new level. Man, root aphids will fuck your day up trust me. I went through 4 months wondering wtf was going on with my crops to find out I had aphids from clones I took in, so now I'm super focused on a healthy root structure. I think those two products should help, I hope anyway. I'm usually not into additives but it's worth a shot :)

Thats awesome. Might have something to compare in another month or so. Bodhi Synergy has some pretty large leaves at this point, but not quite there yet

Hell yeah! Man, I've been wanting to try some bodhi beans soon. I don't really get to grow too many indica Dom plants but I do love the leaves they can put out. A maple leaf indica I had years back had some honker leaves too, it was the last plant I grew that had massive leaves, though my Larry og had some big ones but they were more floppy and awkward thsn just big lol

My nutrient line up as of now is as followed.

Ez cloner - tap water with chlorine added 2x a week. 7-10 days it's time to plant
rps20160824_212729.jpg

Newly rooted cuts - veg+bloom RO with my .1ec tap mixed to 1.0ec 5.5ph first watering.

I let the rockwool croutons almost dry out to the point of hours before the plant droops before the next watering. This I feel is necessary. Especially for certain strains. Keeping the rockwool too wet and watering too often early on will yield you some shitty roots and a not so vigorous plant.

Once the clones in the party cups fill the cup completely with roots and need a watering 1x per day, then it's time to transplant. We will get to this later when it happens. You can grow a huge plant in a party cup of rw croutons. I like to transplant at 10-12" to make sure that root system is hardy and ready to explode in growth when transplanted. Usually when it's time to top the plant and it starts growing it's new shoots, it's transplant time.

I'm learning to clone in root plugs as we speak. I had 1 tray root in 7 days by soaking the plugs in 1ec of veg+bloom. Misting the dome, in 3 days taking the dome off for an hour, replacing the dome and misting the dome. Then day 7 opening the vents for 12 hrs. Not sure if this is standard but it works. Oh, and make sure the plugs don't dry out. They shouldnt if your rh is right, I didn't have to water them for 7 days when the roots started growing. That will be your que to water because if there's no roots and the plugs dry out your rh isn't high enough and too much air is getting in there. My veg room is 80 degrees.

Here's my first double ended harvest :) I'm pretty proud of it but there's always room for improvement and if there comes a point in time when the next harvest hasn't improved, I'm doing something wrong and need to reevaluate things. rps20160824_194450.jpg

Drying is crucial. The room should be under 70 at all times with an rh of 55%-60%. The longer the dry the better. I shoot for 7 days drying time. But 10-14 is even better, but that rarely happens for me. I use an ac and a humidifier to control the Temps and rh.

After its dry I store it in totes while aiming for the same Temps and rh. Storing buds in a bad climate makes them doo doo. But as always do what you gotta do and just try to get the best environment you can. I hope that I don't have to store it longer than 2 weeks or so before it goes to the patients. Saves me electric lol
