I hope so man, when the plants went in, the light was like 5'+ away lol. They did grow up to the light that's for sure , but they're still 3.5' away ( the ones that are 4wks in) . I used my light meter and the light intensity drops almost 50% between 4' and 3' I think because I don't have lighting on all sides. In the warehouse they have side, front and back cross lighting. Ohhhhh someday that's my next dreamI'm sure they will all work out how you want mate, I see warehouses with the lights like 1.5m away and the buds are still super fat! They are looking dank as always though man
Lol about your sog plants too, they took off pretty quickly ha ha. The plants won't know what to do under the MH too, you'll be swapping plants out every 2 weeks with that beast
I hope in the next 15 months or so I can upgrade again to 50 lights or so and do commercial growing properly , with me taking care of each individual plant with care without the money clouding my brain like most commercial growers out here

Are foot candles the same as lux ? I have a lobby meter and I'm fitting about 25000 lux at the tops , I've been told it should be 50000 lux , is that wrong ? ! ? Have I been misguided

Ahh I see , 1 footcandles = about 10.5lux , so 55000lux is ideal, at 3.5' I get 25k lux, but at 3' I get about 45k, just under 3' 60k lux . I think I should shoot for 3'

I shall not have light penetration issues in veg from now on! I also an able to lower my trays a good 8" and mount the lights to the top of the tent which gave me another 10" compared to my t5 fixtures. Gained a 1.5' of head room

My damn phone sucks at taking pictures in low light, they always come out with a green tint . . So I'll be getting another phone at some point. I used my fiancees phone to take these, so much more crisp and true .
Veg bloom at 1.2 ec with veg bloom shine at 1gram per gallon . PH 6.2. I don't have anything good or bad to say about the shine, but the shine does contain beneficial bacteria and sugars. This isn't good for someone that uses a sterilizer in their water, like me. But I used it anyway , maintaining a . 25ml per gallon of bleach. Maybe next run I'll brew a beneficial tea so I don't have to kill the bennies in the shine and see how well it does.

So I think I may have my uncle for a sponsor to get a legal rec grow going for me . I'm pretty stoked and hope I can keep up if the situation happens! I've tried to throw the ball around with a few friends out here but it felt like everyone is out for themselves or not willing to be a team or take advice especially constructive criticism , which is obviously needed to be accepted in these kind of things . Will keep the thread posted on how things go, could be a while from now but seems like good news so far I feel I've been ahead of the game 100% with things like rosin , full melt hash for dabbing and what flowers consumers want (got to have a broad basis for flowers ) . . But I just haven't had help to get things going . It's tough doing it all myself but I feel I can do it with the proper funding , so hopefully there will be a product license with my name on it in the shops in the next year or so
I feel I've been ahead of the game 100% with things like rosin , full melt hash for dabbing and what flowers consumers want (got to have a broad basis for flowers ) . . But I just haven't had help to get things going . I hope it pans out and I can handle it on my own! I have some secure fellas from back east that know the ropes so will see if a couple will come on board . Things have been going as planned slow and steady , and when I set a goal , I try my best to get it done . Since buying a house is now checked off the to do list I can put all my effort into this . Cannabis Dynasty coming to a theater near you ! Hopefully lol
