Want me to pick up my cardboard blueprints and the 1/2" pipe and the fittings from you later today? I'll have them built for you by friday. I'm busy tomorrow all day ;-)

Did you get more ratchet type hangers so we can hang the other lights?
Right on man, I just got back, you still around? We'll have to figure out something different for the tray /sea of green, and just make the manifold a little bit longer or wider (I can't remember which) just to give some play around the pots :) I got the lights hung but haven't leveled them yet, but they are up there

Which reminds me, did you end up growing with them slabs? If so how did they slabs work out for you?
I did 1 slab grow, if was better yield than the Hugo, but borderline micro buds, though I still got 22ish zips on the light and the buds weren't really micro, but just smaller than usual. The plants in the Hugo's grew wayyyy better, but all had micro buds

I have the new slabs sitting on the floor not being used yet because the room is less than half done here. For now I have a 12 pot mini cube in flower F&D and a tray of mothers in mini cubes.
And just bought a 64 site to go along with my old 32 site.
I will need a couple 400 dollar heat pumps before the set up gets to try out the slabs.

Well, after some trials with the great white bennies, I came to a conclusion.

It works! In rockwool anyway.

I sprinkled it around the stem and watered. All the plants that had it sprinkled around the stem have a much better and robust root system. Coincidence? I think not! I think it's the fungi doing the job. :hump:

So since great white is just stupid expensive, I figured there's always an alternative without a fancy label that is pretty much the same thing.

I stumbled on this that's about 1/6th of the price.

Well, it's safe to say, there's Zero small bud syndrome going on with the cookies, let alone everything else. I was worried. Small bud syndrome is an illusive creature.

It's 100% a watering issue. If you have it or had it and are too scurred to admit it lol, well, it's simple to fix it. Don't water as much! You can't fix it if it already started, but if you have plants that you know is susceptible to it, water them WAY less.

I'm on my way to 3 per with these bishes. Don't quote me, cuz I ain't said shittttt

One more for the night. Fungi.
Ordered 2 different batches of new fungi to play with for the next batch of cuttings I need to take next week. I'll be inoculating 26 different species of fungi into the root zone, but still using natural fertilizers. I need to flip these 10 days early, if that's any constellation. I potted these plants up (that were stuck in party cups for a while) just 2.5 weeks ago. A 7" pot = 2.5 Hugo blocks of mini cubes.

Finished up the drip manifolds for the next batch. Just need to glue on some risers, 2 end caps and screw on the drippers. At each end of the pvc line, there will be a press fitting for nylon tubing where I can either tie both manifolds together or cap them off for individual use. Only 30" of pvc for each manifold should give the pressure and flow I'll need. T minus 3 days til the flip

rps20161021_174754.jpg

They will be set up like this, with each drip head by a row feeding 3 plants each. This way I'll only have to use about 12-15" of 1/4" tubing which will give me more water flow

Also, after some research I found that there are only 2 known species of fungi that bind to marijuana and hemp roots. Glomus intraradices and and glomus mossae. So I canceled the order for my fungi and went with a company that only uses endomycos because ectomycos only bind to trees and shrubs, so it's a waste of money to buy anything with those in it.

I went with bioag VAM. It's pretty cheap and has the right stuff in it.

This is why I never bought great white, it has more ecto's than endo's. There are some other fungi's that also help with nutrient uptake called Trichoderma. Only problem with them is that they replicate a lot quicker than Glomus sp. and can outcompete them. They are useful to most plants though and are in most myco treatments.

Your girls are looking awesome as always brother :-D

Getting ready for the flip! The Bubba kush, animal cookies, blackdog og, sherb x gg4 and sour kush are alot bigger than I was thinking theyd be, at an avg of 24" tall, (the blackdog og are about 10-12" for the sog). Now, my first impression was Oh shit that's too big, but I did some calculations and oh it'll be tight but holy shit, it will be the best jungle ever! They are about 2x as bushy as the last batch that's in flower, so I cant imagine how it will be but I know I'll make it work :) the mamas are getting too big and I need to take cuts in a couple days and whack them back a lot but I let them go so I can get the best tops possible for the next batch. I've upped the EC to 1.4. I do have some odd growth, I think from adding the great white to the roots. Some branches just are growing all over the place, but it could be from lack of training, I don't know lol. But at least they are healthy, that's all that matters

This is the sherb x gg4 and I have serious high hopes for it. It's super sticky in veg and the terps are crazy like sweet sour nutmeg.

Here's the little babies from the animal cookies cross seed run, they have a ways to go still

Sneak peak at the day 21 flower update, here's some day 20 Bubba kush frost, God I love this cut :hump:

The switcheroo caught me off guard! Love the new place!
Hope your eye gets better.
I had my DNA checked for Blackfoot too. Said zero and that I was from the Iberian peninsula. Now I need to get the truth.
Mrs Mo says that they don't want people knowing that they are Native American because of all of the money involved now.
@Aeroknow - I don't remember the BBQ details very well. Did we meet? If so did I give you any seeds?

Cheers,
Mo
