Aquarium silicone? Water tight and its safe for fish.

Aquarium silicone would be ideal if you could locate the leak and patch it up from outside. You certainly wont be pouring it into anything tho as its pretty stiff out of the tube. It is silicone after all. Cant think of anything like you're asking about op sorry.

True, I was just thinking maybe you could blob some down and use a stick or something to move it around. Worth a shot, or even like layer the bottom outside?

Oh you are absolutely correct. I definitely second the aquarium silicone ive used it several times to repair glass. Hopefully he can make it work. Hate to see a good bong go unused

Anything but putting it away unused. It deserves a great life full of being filled and cleared of some dank bud. All its ever wanted to do was get you high. You wouldnt take that away from it... would you?

You may be able to get some soapy water on the outside and blow thru the bong (plugging the slide hole of course). Maybe find where its leaking at. Works on tires all the time.

Turns out water weeps from the bottom.
like condensation.
I could epoxy the bottom but since
the bottom has not been glazed im worried that it will turn to mush under the patch.
Gonna try it anyway.
One last thought.
Could I just find a pottery place and have it glazed inside and re-fired?

Thats actually not a bad idea, if you know of one. Id try that before the silicone. Im sure it wouldnt take much to fix.

Not sure about it getting mushy ive never used it on ceramic. My brain tells me it wouldnt be an issue but I honestly cant say for sure. Having it re glazed is an excellent idea if you know of a place.

What about porcelain tile / grout sealer. It's very liquid and sloshed around the inside and is not expensive. Just allow the recommended time to dry as per the manufacturers recommendation. Unless you plan in drinking your bong water, I can't see why you couldn't use it.

Well I have drank it before but I think im cured of that so ill look into that sealer.
After reading I would have to find a high heat capable pottery place.
I also remembered fixing even broken glass with awuarium putty.
Its a two part dough.
Last resort I will Sillicone it.
If that don't im sure it is a sign of the
gods.

Yep tile and grout sealant have low to no smell. Let it dry good and that should do the trick. Also if you have any tile backsplash or tub surrounds, they should be resealed every 5 years. If your wife just read that and you are now on the hook for surrounds and back splashes, my apologies.
