Leaks

For all you hydro growers out there.
Do you guys put any leak preventions in your set ups?

Would placing a bigger tub around your grow tub be of any help?

Couple under my belt here...couple of containers that is. Never been a problem. Mine is in a walk in shower though, so if it does leak, no water damage. The plants will die though.

I'm on my first grow with no problems but I do use one of the large low under bed type tubs. My tub sits in it and my plants above. I also lined the floor with several layers of plastic, actually the large bags that are used for shipping mattresses
Like I said, I've had no leaks but it's helpful for any splashing when adding water, or drips from lifting out the plants.

Better safe than sorry:mrgreen:

Mmmkay..
After doing some research on the forums...
Im looking toward an ebb&flow system. I don't really want to have seperate buckets if I can have one tray. It doesn't seem like a ebb&flow can leak because it sits on top of the res ?
I just don't want to open the cab and see the tray overflowing
One more noobafied question...with an ebb&flow can i flood n drain it?

The ebb&flow is a flood and drain hydro. Its' what I will be growing in soon.Just as soon as I go back to work here.I can't start the cab up till I go back to work for the cost to run it and paying my bills. Peace
