Leaf signs

I don’t ph my tap water with or without nutrients or recharge. I just give it to them. If your in a well it’s fine to not ph your tap water but city water should be left uncovered for 24hrs to burn off chlorine before giving to the plants.
I tried not to but then I did to find tap was 8.28 PH or so and it would make sense when looking at a few charts that it is deficient due to that when it should be ph’d between 6-7.

How long do ph buffers in soil last? It had a lot washed out of it from watering excluding my flush, with just top dressing monthly. Some times I would water too much at a time. Do PH buffers cover the whole pot with top dressing fresh soil?

The vape off chlorine thing I keep reading between growers saying you need to or don’t need to. More importantly I read tap vs Ro or dehuey water killing microbes rather or not you vape off the chlorine in the tap is what I worry about.

It does say recharge will up the PH a little so the tap water would be higher than 8.28.

The 2x2 went to crap real fast but today later will be 48hrs since recharging. Hoping for progress, I have little leaf matter to work with. The pic with orange circle in it, that dont look like mold does it? It was in high rh conditions for 3 days power outage and looks a lot like the mold that took my last run. Right on the orange hair it looks more dusty than it looks like just trichomes on the hair. Usually on the inside of bud first though.

I expect this wont make it and might not even make it long enough to produce anything. Still getting worse and now I just have nothing left, my space cabinet auto is doing better and might actually make it to end of late flower and maybe even ripe. The 2x2 is just tumbling down hill daily.

Going to take down my 2x2 and merge projects by continueing in dirt with the space cabinet. I have no room for this anymore, I decided to mainly grow coco again. I can only have one room for grows and so this needs be taken down. Conveniently the 1x1 with soil takes up just 1x1 so I can keep that going.

I think the damage is starting to hault. I can only hope so but if I can get it by for another 6-8 weeks I could have something out of the 2x2 after all. I do see first buds so Id say mid flower started a bit ago. 4 weeks into flower just about. I just fed more recharge. I still am ph’ing my water to 6-7ph.

Im excited, it has been like 13 days and was impatient because been through cloning attempts before that lasted 30 days before dying but with a root that popped out the jiffy pallet. So I knew heat was a factor in success. I cant yell success yet but as I popped one out the rapid root there was a root and few just coming in.

So I think my space cabinet can also make clones pretty well which adds even more to the space theme. I purposely took two (had more but died) so I can do that if I am feeling impatient. I put it back, I chipped the new root in half pulling it out but has more appearing to come out that maybe wont get damaged putting it back in.

So I think this will work out. Temps stay above 72F and ambient lighting 24/0 with 50% RH and a bag over it for respiration/transpiration purposes but open so air can still flow a little to prevent damping off. Last thing that I believe is working for me is the rapid root having rich oxygen levels and coco capable medium that wont over water it.

They look lively still so they may make it another 10 days and possibly succeed which would be my first clones which if goes well I would say it was easy. I like the bag method over the plant with open end so the hardening off can happen early as that part sucked, cuttings wilt and dont bounce back easy if at all with a dome.

Look lively possibly because they are semi pulling up some water to stay alive theough their tiny new roots is my guess. Not to get off topic but I did mention the cuttings already thinking Id need some help which I did and recieved.

The space cabinet is a vital part of this. Glad my old project turned into a few different uses of this box. Heck, two uses at once! It kept the perfect micro climate. Clones from the space ship!

Damn, I just realised I gots no room for this clone… Its a full house. Just gonna toss it but will consider cloning one of my runs. I am with those that cant stand growing same thing back to back, I can get bored quick.

I can vape a strain I like for about a year but that is it but all this labor Id want something new each time. Based on how I set up my grow I just cant and dont feel like changing plans. I already popped all seeds only option as well is to just veg it for 4 months but not ideal.

The one I impatiently pulled out and chipped root is popping out now and the other went insane. Now that I need to up my cloning skills to make my setup work, I am gonna try keeping this. It is only 10% thc but smells nice, has a sharks breath like smell, hard to describe. Just a good hops like smell. Heck it is called super shark so hence the comparison. It is frosty so far.

I cut two holes in the bag to start hardening off and going to make half gal coco for both maybe transplant to 1 gallon or just start and finish in 1 gallon. Need to get rid of my half gallon pots though, got like a zillion of them from when I thought I wanted to do a SOG. Now that I learned about bean hunting those might come in handy.

As for the soil project, the 2x2 is still crawling by making bud. The 1x1 is making it further, most likely up to harvest. 3 weeks til chop on 1x1.

Edit : Damn I thought revegging clones wouldnt be such a big deal, I thought I heard buds just pop off and grows normal quickly but appearently over a month before it can veg normal. I might actually toss them sadly. Read up on how it can actually increase node growth and grow bushy but idk how well confirmed that is but I rather move on.

With all this stress or genetics, it is nanners in bunches on 4 bud sites but not sure if more coming in or not ir if this should be chopped asap because of that? I have the auto almost finished flowering.. Same room if that matters.

Is it any chance genetics? I made clones of this and wondering.

Hard to say whether it's genetics or stress. If the autos in the same tent are almost done, it won't affect them much, not enough time for seeds to develop. However, you'll have seeds on the nanner plants, and may want to do a good cleaning to kill any residual pollen before your next grow.

Here is best to ask id say. So buying a number of things from local hydro store has its benefits. What about soil like ffof for example? If bought on amazon could it give poor results?

Id hate to not like soil based on last experience. I find a lot of grow medium things best bought from store.Just been reading on and off on RIU other peoples issues and their advice.

Quick search says yes it can go bad stored poorly. About to check for dates when I can. Just bothers me because I grew ffof in green house before with torcher conditions no mold no dying leafs other than a few.

Was just watering plain water and straight nutes like one twice a month idk long time ago. Not much sunlight so poor yield, maybe it wasnt pushed as hard therefor?

I could use soil someday if I could just get it right. Maybe try a different soil from local store. The ffof that went well was bought from the store.

I think next time Im going to try root organics and roll with FF liquid trio nutes. Big Bloom i feel was instrumental in saving my plants from an over watered+nitro burn+ soil pH being 7.2 or something leading to calcium mag deficiency; hell of a rebound.

OP: how'd those nanner buds turn out?? legit ask incase i stress mine out lol.

They stopped throwing nanners and finished as an oz, wasnt all that for genetics. I had others mostly smoke it and say it was good. No seeds. I vape just concentrates so I didnt really care for it not yielding any.

The other plant yielded a lot of delicious rosin, I liked it a lot. It smoked potent too for a concentrate vaper only.

eyyy one of the blessings of this hobby, as long as you finish, you can always make something out of it lol.
