Barney Fife would have to have a lot of time on his hands. First, there are questions of jurisdiction. If you reside in the U.S. the local LEO has absolutely no recourse if he needs information on individual users of this forum. Nor does he have the funding or legal authority to even pursue an international case.
If Deputy Fife were to compile enough intelligence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that you are maintaining a grow op, he still has to find you. Most of us are anonymous and this ain't Facebook.
In all likelihood, Deputy Fife simply does not have the time to go on a fishing expedition here. If the good Deputy has a hard-on for you personally and is determined to get you, he will. He's far more likely to bust you by putting the squeeze on an informant who heard about your grow from someone you told in the real world.
