Latest but also easiest strain to grow?

First time grow but I'm doing it the right way and with massive preparation.

set up:

4000w from 4 hps over 24 plants or so... hydroponics system using coco or soil or whatever... similar to sublbc's blue dream grow hopefully


What are the best bets for a new grower?

I've heard big bud and sensi star although they aren't new or tendy strains



any feedback would be great

You say you are doing it the right way and with massive preparation but you have not chosen your grow medium as yet? for your first grow I am not sure if sublbc's grow would be the best to use as a template for a first grow (that's very ambitious).

Check out some reputable seed houses, they will have lots of info on the particular genetics they carry. I chose skunk genetics as they seem to be extremely hardy and very good producers. Depending on your location you will have to find a seed supplier (unless you can get clones, then a clone supplier, or clone your own), a good hydroponic store as you will always be in need of something .

Good luck on your grow, 24 plants 4 x 1000W HPS, definitely would like to see you succeed.

Yeah you would have a badass grow with that setup, IF everything goes right..your taking a huge leap into something that, like me, are just learning about. Reading up on here and doing your homework is a great idea, its what i did..but it still wont prep you fully for the real thing, its something you just have to learn from doing..and theirs going to be issues along the way you probably wont think of. Id suggest whatever what you go with for your growing medium..make it simple on your first grow.

good example, an issue i ran into that i never thought of until another member mentioned it. I was initially going with a DWC hydroponic system in my growbox. I was all set up and good to go, until someone said they did'nt notice a way for me to keep my water temps down..which they had an excellent point, i checked my water temps and they were at 80F and without a real practical way to keep them down to the high 60s low 70s i was going to just create a breeding ground for all kinds of nasty stuff.
So i switched up to organics with soil, thinking i made a much better route atleast for my situation, and organic growers say they get some of the tastiest smoke out of it too

Also you need to take in to account, the electricity bill, running 4000w's of lights, and if u go hydroponically with 24 plants thats going to require a several air pumps and alot of airstones, alot of hydroton, alot of nutes, ect
If moneys no barrier, i say go full bore then!

Dr Chronic has a Alpha 13 it's Big Bud X Skunk #1. I grew it and its a great smoke. A high you could do chores on or play games, not too couch lock just a bit.
