Largest dwc ever??

Hydro outside gets to be problematic, water temp above 70 an shit grows in the water an the roots die. So you spend money on water chillers.
I did 45 gallon dwc inside, was a huge waste of money and effort. Res change sucked, used up so much nutrients. For me a 5 gallon dwc was all I needed
Except that this isn't true. Water temps can rise to the mid 70s as long as good agitation and churning are maintained.

Above 70, mid 70's... jesus christ we got captain hair splitter over here... the recommended temp is what? 68? Is this a game of how much can we flirt with failure? An in case you missed it your late to the party there's already been a guy who linked a product that he says let's you get into 90° temps before shit can grow.

All of that is moot though as anyone reasonable knows the water WILL get hot outside and require a chiller. Its gonna get hotter than "mid 70s" during the summer ffs

Get to out of here shitstick

It's an open forum, clown. People can comment anytime they want.

Yes, a few degrees can make a big difference.

Mid 70s, that's up to 76F, work fine with good water agitation.

No chiller or air pumps needed.

And @rkymtnman already mentioned how to keep the water cool outside; bury the tubsites.

Why you so mad?

Ya anyone can post, an I can freely call out your bullshit.

In the summer its gonna raise water temps over '76'
The example posted above was a outdoor gardener doing cucumbers and his water temps were over 90.
The context is outdoor hydro dumbass, your gonna need a water chiller for that. Wtf are you arguing over couple degrees when it's still going to be over 90? Are you really that stupid?

"There's a guy on here doing this in a 5 gallon bucket. He sank the bucket in a hole like you mentioned. Seems he's having algae issues and having to drop a frozen bottle of water in to cool the water in hot days. It is growing though.....lol"

Here ya go shitstick, in case you missed it.

I'm not mad, I'm just being followed by a toddler.

Right. One person's experience is always indicative of the full potential.

I don't follow you around.

You're just wrong that much.

Mmmmkk shitstick, keep advocating outdoor hydro with no water chiller. Interesting position.

Sounds a lot more like following me and just contradicting me for the sake of it to me instead of good advise but whatever.

It's not like we haven't seen the need before and your ignoring the need for the cooled water when outside. Nope.

Trolling trolling trolling, shitstick keep on trolling yee haw!

Not to be rude but those look awful vs the high quality air stones I was running in dwc.. I wouldn't want to half ass it like that. Ty though
WTF are you talking about. I'm not even using air stones you pleb. HIGH QUALITY air stones. ROFL. This guys falling for the hype, fellas. You literally said you don't want a noisy air pump. This is a build that doesn't use one at all. Maybe read the thread a bit before being an ass.

Scroll up to the post BEFORE the one that comes up upon clicking the link. You tell me your "high quality" air stones can give you healthier plants than that?

Sorry "dude" I have minimum expectations based on my experiance running micropore airstones. Those roots look like trash. If those look good to you have at it.

HAHAHAHAHAHA you're a waste of time. Sorry I even gave you any advice at all. You're just a sick who doesn't even appreciate the simplicity of running without anyone's. @ttystikk this fucking guy....

What's with the new wave of dumbasses doing the bare minimum and thinking it's good these days and pissed at people who have standards? It's like nobody takes pride in what they do around here anymore... times like this I feel old, having seen first hand what differance a little effort makes.

I just realized you're the same disease who started the windmill thread. It explains a lot. I'm not going to dedicate any amount of energy towards you from now on.

Thank you! Please smash that ignore button!

Funny how the only person who contributed to that thread was nfhiggs, and me an him can still talk and have friendly conversation.

People like you who contributed nothing and never understood the thread or what the point was are still bent. Funny shit.

All I did was show you that RDWC can be done without an air pump. You wanted a quiet one, which led me to believe eliminating it all together might be of interest to you.
Then you shit all over it on your reply. You're a bitch, man. "Not trying to be rude".
