Above 70, mid 70's... jesus christ we got captain hair splitter over here... the recommended temp is what? 68? Is this a game of how much can we flirt with failure? An in case you missed it your late to the party there's already been a guy who linked a product that he says let's you get into 90° temps before shit can grow.
All of that is moot though as anyone reasonable knows the water WILL get hot outside and require a chiller. Its gonna get hotter than "mid 70s" during the summer ffs

Yes, a few degrees can make a big difference.
Mid 70s, that's up to 76F, work fine with good water agitation.
No chiller or air pumps needed.
And @rkymtnman already mentioned how to keep the water cool outside; bury the tubsites.

The example posted above was a outdoor gardener doing cucumbers and his water temps were over 90.
The context is outdoor hydro dumbass, your gonna need a water chiller for that. Wtf are you arguing over couple degrees when it's still going to be over 90? Are you really that stupid?
