Laminate your leaves?

I just cut down 3 males :( and wanted to keep some of the leaves... The first time i did this, the leaves dried up and were all skinny and not as pretty as i first cut them... So i decided to just used clear packing tape, and these are the results:) Hope they stay like this now since they are air sealed...

they will still dry up and turn color. about the only way to preserve them is with embalming fluid. If you press them while they dry at least they keep most color and shape.
 
you don't need to use any silly fluids or fancy do dads...


place the leaves between the pages of closed books, and within a week or two they will be dry and ready to be laminated :)

Placing the leaves between books is called "Pressing" lots of girls used to do this to flowers back in the day....I ramble sometimes..
 
great idea,laminate your leaves with like ur cell num in it and give them away to some girls at a night club or something,or as a buisness card to clients who want to buy,but get a prepay disposable cell so thatway the num cant be tracked.

i still yet to lam a few leaves of my own but pressin them drys them out and keeps them holdin atad not much alittle smaller,color stays and they become leathery,but im sure at that point they could go in a real laminating machine
 
I've dried leaves in between book pages and they come out looking just as good as they did when I took them off the plant.

I have had some in a book for years, just make sure to keep them in a dark place. Light will overtime bleach them and make them look dull. If they were wet when you sealed em up, they will probably mold before long. I sealed a bud a few years back in apoxy in a shot glass. You cant see the resin on it, but it looks like it did the day I put it in the apoxy.
 
Yeah im just hoping that they will stay nice and big so far so good, i have some dried leaves but arent the same the day i cut them:(

A prepaid phone could still easily be triangulated, giving you're exact location, and subsequently you're address. The easiest way to elude the police (at least for awhile) is to get a prepaid phone and clone the sim (sim cloners are getting extremely cheap) card, then give the original to someone else. they can still triangulate, but it will be practically impossible for any LE to tell which phone is the seller and which is the original... sorry for going off topic :joint:

Okay perhaps you're confused... I was telling you that you should put the leaves in between book pages, the leaves will dry, and stay in form. Once they are dried and in form, and looking just dandy you can laminate them without worrying about them curling up, or looking like crap.

I know what you were saying, maybe you didnt read my post well... I stated that i have put them in a book before and dried them without them curling up or looking like crap... (that was never said) theres even a pic of the leaf (1st pic).
The thing that i wanted to do, which i dont think you understand is that i want them to stay how they were the first day i cut them, so i laminated them and are air tight. So far so good, they are still the same, without any discoloration or shrinkage... like they would be if i pressed them in a book.

Yeah, I just used the "find" tool and searched for "book" and your name did not show up a single time until just now...

No wonder there is so much confusion.
