Well so far its kinda goin down hill... I can not figure out for the life of me why my hps is makin my plants slowly turn yellow. 4 of my 5 clones look root and are now in soil. They are doing really good. My outside plants are great!!!! They are wicked tall and have soo many bud spots. Ill try and get some pics up later.

Hmm, could be a nute or ph issue...
Post some pics, I also have a plant doing the same, not under HPS, but its yellowing for no real reason and I've pumped it up with some "N"

sorry about your burning little ones, have you thought that its not the light. Maybe you have bad pH in the soil.. are you giving them nutes already???? because that could possibly kill them

First problem is a clear sign of heat exhaustion. Hence the yellowing/dying leaves, you'll see the edges start to turn brown, dry, dead, etc.

A 400w light inside a little box is like you tanning inside a little box. They don't like it :/. You need a full venting system, meaning 6'' exhaust from that light, passive cold air intake (AC), as well as passive exhaust, to really utilize a 400w system. This means it can't be made of cardboard box :/.

The second problem when you switched to Flourescents is that you skimped on the bulbs. Simply not enough lumens. If you go with Flourescents, go with a solid brand of a T5 Flourescents: http://www.n-g-w.com/ngw/lighting.aspx?request=SUN_BLAZE_STRIP_LIGHT&title=Fluorescent Lighting&type=product

Ok well its not the ph. just checked it. 6.2 . My plants out side look fine. No yellowing or anything.

Just wondering but should plants that are in flowering get nutes??? I havent gave any nutes to this plant and its starting to go down hill.. and fast... I read that when a plant is in flowering it takes alot of the nutes out of the leafs to produce the buds. Maybe thats whats happening because the bud looks nice but the plants leafs look like they are dead.

It could be, I've had the same thought as well and I pumped mine with some extra "N" as well as P and K
it would take about a week to notice a major change but it hasnt gotten any worse for me.

Whatcha got for nutes??
yeah it does use alot budding and you want those fan leaves for bud production.

lady gizmo.... after the 5th week in veg. you should be feeding a light dose of high N. based plant food...in flower you will be feeding more often and changing to a higher p and k. if you have good air flow and decent temps..in that box your fine there...the yellow suggestes a lack of food specificly N. i hope this is of some help.

also if they are god forbid still in the beer cups they will be root bound and in need of a bigger container.... im sorry i didnt read every post so i dont know but indoors you will need to transplant once after you get a good root base. and once when your going to induce flower. upgrading size. each time.
