I really should... But I'm only physically back from my campout, in my head I'm still in the woods and can't find a water pump! ;)

I actually may get something started this week. I have most of what I'd need just laying around the shed, so purchases would be minimum.

Ill watch for now, gotta get my outdoor set up first.
lol I hear ya....you know you don't need a water pump, only an air pump right? :p (You probably meant that bit as a joke but it's hard for me to decide early n the morning with a huge Belgian wheat beer in my hand haha)

Would love if you set something up, we could learn together! Have some more seeds on the way so might start another dwc grow too lol.

I love the video with the CFLs. Great grow who's ever it was. My biggest problem was getting my bulbs close enough to the colas. Now that i got a 600w/cool tube I can't keep my colas from burning the tops lol. Those soil plants look great! Do you do any organic? I'm trying to figure out an outdoor setup. I've only grown hydro in a tent with top gear :/. So my first organic soil outdoor grow will likely flop. :(

Thanks, they are completely organic. Soil is a lot easier than people think. Most people who fail didn't take the proper time to research growing. If you can maintain a hydro grow, soil should be easy. I don't measure Ph or PPM, and though it's my first grow, haven't had any problem with burns or deficiencies. I use tap water, organic fish hydrolysate fertilizer, Fox Farm Grow Big and Big Bloom, and will be adding some Liquid Karma once it gets here. Next soil grow, will mix my own and it will be even easier, will just have to water, no need for nutes :). The thing that takes up the most time for me is training the tips through the scrog. Don't doubt yourself!

Nice setup! I'm putting together my own DWC, I have everything except my nutes and meters.

Just an FYI on your door situation: it is very easy to take a door off the hinges, all you need is a hammer and something pointy, and a plain Jane door can be picked up from Home Depot/Lowes etc for dirt cheap.

Then I have to find a place in a cramped apartment to keep the old door...and risk my nosy neighbors and landlord wondering why I'm walking in my apartment with a brand new door. Also would need tools to cut through it. Trash bags and duct tape is easier for me :p. Actually kind of enjoy trying to make do with the things around me, and not spend too much money! I'm glad you like my setup, do you have a thread going for your grow?

Have an even smaller grow going on right now... I know a few tricks :-P

also i grow with my door closet door shut and no vent, and i have no problem.
My closet gets close to 90 with the door shut and only three CFLS runnng...I'll be needing to vent.

Today is Day 3 for the bagseed. The clones aren't looking too hot. Am not real sure about them...but it's ok because I do have some seeds to choose from if they don't take soon. The bagseed is already looking stout, not stretchy at all...love that about CFLs.

True, storing the other door would be a bit of a hassle that
is for sure.

I've been setting up my own grow, every time I come home
with something new, there has been one neighbour outside.

I always forget lot's of people don't have tools. My girlfriend's
step-father is a contractor so I'm used to having them.

I don't have a thread yet; I'm still in setup stage. Tonight was
spent putting my DIY carbon filter together, success so far on
it, we will see once the smells come out. It's a 120mm 150 CFM
computer fan I jury-rigged with some carbon, cheese clothe and
a few spare parts.

The pics of my split finger nail because of the fan come first though :)

Lol yea that's how it is with my neighbors...someone is always outside. I could only imagine the looks I'd get walking to my apartment with a new door, a few of them would even be bold enough to call out to me and ask me what I'm buying it for.

You def have to send me a link to your grow when you get it started. Did you try to attach some pics to your post? If you get that filter setup up successfully, you'll have to post a guide on how to make it for noobs like me :)

Thank you BgLittlejohn :) am glad to have you!

Happy to ride on the train Lady J. Just don't pump the Dirty Dirty too loud, as I am more of a 90s east coast type dude...(though you can crank that Outkast and 'Face as loud as you want).

The dirty doesn't sound right unless it's loud :-P

I do have love for some east coast...like Nas, AZ, The Roots, Erykah Badu.

And everybody loves Outkast, they have the dirty south rhythm and the east coast lyrics, ATLiens = Perfection.
