Just wanted to know if anyone has ever used kool bloom or any additives like it? I have read that it can increase the yield by a good amount. Is this true? Is it really worth it? I am just over 1 week into flowering. If I do get it when should I add it? I know that some one has tried it please let me know what you think.

i bought some of the powder kool bloom. i have not gotten to the stage in which to use it, but i have friends that swear by it. the guy at the local hydroponics store said that you can add it as soon as you start the flowering cycle. you just want to start out light and then gradually increase it.

1. liquid kool bloom made my buds bigger.
2. this thing will bring out the flavor to the max.
3. flush your plants or not if you can handle the flavor.

Yeah I have heard good things too. I am also using the 3 part GH flora series. So it works good for the taste too? I just thought it was bigger buds. Sounds good Ill go pick it up today because im already going into my second week.

i use the liquid and dry in combination... along with other gh products..

its always given amazing results... flowering definitely sets on faster... buds are larger faster.... very much worth it...

here are some pics that were from 24 days into flowering.... tomorrow is day 28 and the difference between them now and 3 or 4 days ago is amazing...

the dry is where its at! start with liquid for the first 3-4 weeks of flower then hit the dry with a small scoop per 5gal. for a week or two, then a large scoop per 5gal for the remander til flush. Ithink the scooperit comes with is teaspoon and tablespoon what ever it is it f'in blows up the buds.

i use both in my hydro system...

the dry is super soluable in the water... so its fine to use... i am actually going to add some starting tomorrow.. both the liquid and dry.. along with the gh bloom and micro.. floral nectar... and floralicious bloom...

What benefit do you get from the flora nectar and floralicious bloom? Should I invest in that too?
the floral-nectar is a "molasses substitute"... it gives the plants carbs/sugars that help assist in many plant functions.. its also a sweetner and increases sugar production (ie resin booster)..

the floarlicious grow/bloom are basically organic additives... they help to promote lush growth and have a ton of additives with in them.. they are made with kelp and shit like that.. so its like a thrive alive sorta thing also...

of course i also use the regular gh 3 part...

i also use diamond nectar... this is an additive that helps strengths the plants immune system, makes it more resistant to stresses (nute burn, heat stress, ect.), and increases the amount of nutes the plant can absorb.. it also helps to resist ph shock and allows the plant to absorb more nutes throughout a larger ph range...

Thats what I do use it with the 3 part with awsome results!!!!!bongsmilie
Yeah I am using The GH as follows
1 tsp floragro
2 tsp floramicro
3 tsp florabloom
1 tsp kool bloom liquid
per gallon of water.
I thought the GH had a PH stableizer in it but I keep having to raise the PH everytime I mix up some nutes. Anyone else have this problem?

My tap water starts at 7.8pH, so I have to add pH down after I've added nutes. 12 gallon reservoir:

Grow 60ml
Micro 120ml
Bloom 180ml
Floraliscious Plus 12ml
Flora Blend 120ml
KoolBloom 60ml

30 ml of pH down gets me a 1500 ppm / 3.0 eC at 6.0pH. This is as high as I've gotten with my Jock Horrors, and they seem to be eating fine.... If I've done a good job cleaning the rez, the pH is very stable...

Good luck with your grow!
