Just a heads up my friends. A Pal-O-Mine just gave me a 50 foot by 6 foot piece of gillnet. You can't even see the stuff hanging at say 25 feet and with a spool of heavy Mono you could without a doubt create a critter proof enclosure.
I went on-line to look around a little more and there are a tons of choices and they are cheaper than the fancy soil some of you guys put in one pot.jk You can get a 300'X6' foot section shipping included for right around $50.00. There are also 8 and 10 foot high sections.
If you set up the taller fence ( I have done it with wire for commercial ornamental nurseries) with the bottom turned away from the garden you can even keep any diggers out. Animals are not usually bright enough to move back to the edge of the turned out fence before trying to dig. This stuff will be way cool for creating a very low visibility critter keeper outer and could be usable as long as any of us are alive. I'm gonna order a 100 foot piece with holes small enough to keep little critters out but you can get any mesh size you want. That will still protect a pile O crap.
I'm sure this has come up before but I hate to search. As a side note they are NETS and might catch stuff. I worked as a commercial gill netter out of Boston and along with fish we caught deep diving seabirds and White sided Dolphins and endangered Atlantic Sturgeon and Seals.
Don't think there are many commercial gill netting licenses left. You can however pick the mesh size you want from some vendors but I'm thinking on going relatively large cause it will be even harder to see.
Rock on boys and girls.!!!!
