Kali Mist LST - Some Questions

Hi. I planted some Kali Mist plants before about 10 days. It seems that the plants are growing slowly (at least compared to my previous grow - Seedsman White Widow).
The humidity is lower than needed, so I wonder if that may be the problem. The conditions in the room are:
Day temp/humidity: 75-82 / 35-45%
Night temp/humidity: 63-68 / 35-45%

I'm using 400MH about 18 inches from the plants. Also I have 2 PC fans running 24/7 and a big fan running from time to time (when the temp rises).

Pics of the plants (10 days from potting the seeds after germination in wet towel):

The top-left plant is Big Bud (free Seedsman seed) and the bottom-left is WOS Afghan Kush. Everything else is Kali.

For my last grow I used 105W CFL for vegging and now I use 400W MH and expected the plants to grow even faster.
Maybe the slower growth is because of the strains?

Please, tell me you opinion.

Thanks.

Awfully small for 10 days, but I honestly have no clue. Try adding a cap full of hydrogen peroxyde to a gallon of purified water, with a good pH. This should help get some oxygen to the roots and make the grow.

Unfortunately I don't have a Ph meter, but I'm using the same boiled tap water as in previous grows that were ok. Maybe part of the reason is overwatering. I was told that with low humidity it's better to water more and I guess I overdo it. Tomorrow I'll upload new photos. Hopefully they will reveal what's going on...

Here are some more photos ,I hope they will reveal what's wrong (Day 13 from potting the seeds after germination):

For comparison (Day 10 vs Day 13):

It seems they're growing faster now, but the leafs seems to be droopy...
Any ideas?

I have one more question. My fertilizers (Bio-Grow and Bio-Bloom) were exposed to low temperatures (as low as 14F) during the winter. Is this something to worry about?

Thanks.

I think maybe I found the problem, at least I hope I did.

Before, I had the 400W MH at about 1.5 feet above the plants. I did the hand test for heat and it seemed fine, but now I think maybe the lamp was too close. Yesterday evening the plants became really droopy. Also I noticed that the leaves tend to get even droopier at the end of the light cycle.

Here are some pics from yesterday evening:

Do you think that may be the reason for the problems? Any ideas?

Thanks.

Do you think it's time to start the LST?

Thanks.

After one day the plants are even bigger. I read that it's best to start LST when there are 3 to 5 nodes developed. I think it's time to start, but just want another opinion.

Forgot to say I'll use this method:

OK, I started the LST anyway. Here are some pics of the plants just LST trained:

Please tell me if I have done anything wrong? Do you think the plants are ok LST-ed like that? I think I hurt a root of one of the plants by sticking the wire in the soil. I hope it's not a big problem.

Thanks.

Hello. It seems there is a problem with the plants. First some general pics (Day 29):

Now to the problem - pics:
P1000122.jpgP1000127.jpgP1000125.jpg
As you can see something's wrong with the edges of the upper leafs of the plants.

The lamp is more than 2 feet away from the leafs.
I don't use any nutes for now, only pure water.
Unfortunately I don't have s Ph meter...
Temperature / humidity:
Day: 67-75F / 48-56%
Night: 60-66F / 48-56%

Any ideas what is causing the problem? Please, help.
I don't want to open a new thread for every question, so I'm hoping for a respond here. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi. Here are some new photos (Day 41 veg):

I plan to switch them to flowering in 4-5 days. Is it too early? Do you think they are big enough? That's my first LST and I don't have any experience.
I've read that there is no point doing LST if the veg period is too short, but is it too short in my case? The strain is Sativa, so the plants are expected to triple in size during flowering.

Thanks.

P.S. I hope someone will answer this time...

Looks good nice canopy I would start here if rushed. Though you may get a better yield if you fill in a little more. Plus if you're pressed for space now would be finebongsmilie
