Wow, I haven't checked this out in a while. I agree - nice recovery. They're def. on their way now. That's funny about the stink - I've noticed a skunky smell in the f2's I'm growing out, not bad but noticeable. But my original plants didn't smell like that at all. And I'm growing out a Cindy male for pollen, and IT has a similar smell - but when you rub it's stem and smell your fingers, it's a sweet and sour fruit smell (which it what I'm hoping it's offspring smell like in flowering). Maybe they're all stinky cuz they just went through puberty, I don't know. The real test is gonna be in flowering.

Does anyone know which pheno JW bred to NL? Cuz i had one stanky ass C99 pheno...threw some funky skunky stinky stank out thru veg and 1/2 way thru flower....then it changed to funk/citrusy. Could be a possibility

another day, and more growth.
Even with that 600 w they are stretching. I guess no growth for 3 weeks will do that.:wall:

From what I've been reading around, 65 degrees is optimal as at that degree your plants aren't suffering from it being too cold and that temp holds more oxygen in it. Once you get into the upper 70s you can start growing algae and all sorts of baddies that contribute to root rot. Also, the higher the temps, the lower the oxygen.

Are you using H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) in your tanks? A tablespoon a day, or every other day will add shit tons of oxygen to the water and kill off any sort of baddie bacterias. After a day or so the H2O2 evaporates out of the tank.
Is that per gallon?
Or just a general amount?

Right now i dont have nothing to keep the temps high except that turtle heater i stole from my turtles. I belive thats 78degress.
Probally too high. But they are loving it, and ill rather see this then nothing. I will be on the look out for algae

Just copying and pasting here:

The chemical formula for hydrogen peroxide is H2O2. You may notice it is simply water with an extra oxygen atom. In fact, as hydrogen peroxide breaks down in a solution the result is oxygen and water. Its application helps deliver oxygen to over watered plant roots and helps to sterilize the growing media by killing harmful anaerobic (not oxygen compatible) bacteria and pathogens that cause disease. This includes bacterial wilt, pythium fungi, fusarium fungi, and others.

The recommended dosage is to add 2-3 ml to each gallon of water, however, I use 5 ml per gallon and have never had any problems. At every nutrient change treat your fresh water using hydrogen peroxide. The general idea is to let the hydroponics system circulate the hydrogen peroxide solution for about a half hour to let the peroxide work against pathogens and to let the solution stabilize before adding your nutrients.

The beneficial effects of using hydrogen peroxide last about 4 days. There are some gardeners who add a little peroxide to their nutrient reservoirs every 5 days in between nutrient changes. If you decide to do this, stick to the guidelines and always make sure your solution is thoroughly mixed before exposing your plants roots to it. Another option is to top off your nutrient reservoir with peroxide treated water whenever it is low.

The practical application of using it is probably a little easier. I'd recommend a teaspoon per day as the peroxide breaks down pretty fast.

The peroxide breaks down in the water after about 24 hours from what I've been reading. So adding a ton every 4-5 days or every reservoir change probably doesn't give you the oxygen boost other than right after you add it. Teaspoon a day would be tits~

Two more females. Totaling three so far, still just the one male.

Over the course of the next week I will be dropping my light hours to 12/12.

Will be making my own little drip system for the males, so i can harvest a bit of pollen. Then after i do that, the drip system will be used as my veg system.

Cool, one way or the other they need to be separated. Pick the tallest most resinous male.

Looking good BBYY! Sub'd... I'm thinking about getting a C99 strain as well. Interested to see how yours turn out. I have friend that grows a grapefruit C99 cross and isn't a very big yielder but jebus does it produce some dense rockhard nugs! That C99 is an ass kicker too! Hopefully that NL#5 cross will help it out. I saw something about micro nutes... I just started using Great White and since I have added it to my clones a ton of growth! Just as a warning H2O2 also kills micro bateria. I'm assumming you are using an air stone? I don't how low your res temps are but 65-70 is good. Since you have some extra space in your tub have you thought about using Uncle Ben's 2/4 cola method and taking the tops as clones?
