MH or HPS bulb TF-DWC

Hey everyone, im about to start a new batch of plants, only 4 of them, am going to grow indoors, with a DWC setup
Ive got myself a 600w Growlush Digital Ballast and a 600w Growlush High Pressure Sodium bulb.
I have looked at the colour spectrum for the HPS and it is mainly RED with a small fraction of BLUE, obviously for Veg i want more blue than red and im wondering if i should use a Metal Halide MH bulb for the vegative stage and then switch to the High Pressure Sodium for the flower. i also want to know if the MH bulb will work in the 600w ballast. Also how far to hang the hood over the grow in the different stages including seedling, stretch etc.
If you guys could give me some help and any other useful tips for lighting that i should know that would be greatly appreciated.

Also how do you guys recommend i cool the grow room, at what temperature should the room be and what temperature to keep my DWC reservoir.

Also photos would be good to compare and try and image the specs that work with success.

I am not a DWC grower so I can't give any good advice to as what is what but I can tell you that there's lots of info from some of the best growers in the World. Right here on RIU.

Welcome To RIU and hope you learn lots and lots. :) Good Day !!

Thanks Bear420 for the warm welcome and your apologies, yes the fires have devostated our communities all over the country, not to mention the poor wildlife caught in the midst of it, but we will recuperate im sure of it. What a lot of people forget is that the country always has a cycle of devastation followed by a period of relief, it isn't a fact of global warming, but its a problem created by the Greenies, they have stopped the allowance of people to clear and clean out the forest floors of dead fauna such as logs and leaves, fuel in other words.
The fire department used to be allowed to back burn throughout the country and get rid of the fuel that powers the fires, but they passed a law that stopped that, they think it disrupts the wildlife... clearly the fires do 1000x more damage then back burning could ever do.

Now, i have done some research so far and there is a lot of compelling but conflicting information, I've just got to psiphon through it as you say and listen to what the best growers have to say.
