Just sampled some of my first grow!

Just tried some of my pineapple express!!she's at 50 days today, trichs are mostly clear some cloudy. Chopped a little 3 gram Nugget off, dried out around 1 gram. Tasted like hay! Because I quick dried It. The smoke was surprisingly smooth. But the high, it's extremely heady. I have tingly limbs sweaty palms, hearts racing a bit. I'm more of a indica strong hybrid man so I'm not used to such a strong head high. Definetly some potent herb already. Going to shoot for 75% amber on her to lessen the sativa expressions. Overall I'm happy with it! Can't wait to chop her in a couple weeks and give a actual report after cure and what not!

Personally I would not let a plant get 75% amber trichomes. Trichomes begin degrading when they start to amber in color. So, the ones that show darker soonest will be quite degraded by the time 75% are darkened.

But, this is your grow, not mine. I am sure you know what is best for your needs. Again...Congrats!!

I'm with you on getting them to amber. Done a lot of reading that suggests that is your goal if you want mature herb that will steer you to the closest couch... I don't know if I would have the balls to go to 75% as I chop when they are 30 to 40 percent amber. Let us know how the high is when they get there.

Such a wonderful feeling of satisfaction being able to medicate with my own plant definetly going for the most amber while attempting not to lose any to degradation!

Congrats mate. I myself like a good smoke on the couch. But before some good sex I don't mind a heady trippy high ya know?
