dude stop trying to invent new methods of growing and just trust us. there is nothing you can do but wait and see if it roots man. If it dosnt then youll have to try again. But dude all you can do is make sure the soil is moist and PLANT THE DAMN THINGS.

Man,where are my plants??Ive already waited for a day,did everything as it should...then right now I kinda scarped some soil off the top,to see if the plants are sprouting,and whatta ya know® they werent sprouting!!I mean,should they take this long to break the soil??Come on man,this is really bummin me out!!!

Man....relax...if you don't have patience for the seeds to sprout, you will never make it 3-4 months to harvest. I'm on my first true grow (sticking seeds in the window when I was 18 doesn't count...lol), and all I can say is it takes as long as it takes. Burn one, relax, and look again on Saturday....IOW, just leave em alone...JMHO

You dont understand,the thing is I damaged the tap root,so I feel that they arent gonna come up!!If everything was fine,I would just set and forgot,but Im anxious to see if they are gonna sprout or not!!

I've got 3 from seed, they popped anywhere from day 1 to day 5. Keep the soil moist (not wet....I still say u need to leave em be..lol) and if they don't sprout in a week or so, start over. BTW did you damage it or is it cut off?

No,it isnt cut..it isnt even too damged,just got wahsed up is all...I was very gently with it,and did evething as I should..the only thing is the seedlings got washed up,then u buried them again!!So,they should sprout right??Damn how long does it take for a tap root to srpout??

Look on the bright side of life........

Even if it does't make it, God forbid, it wasn't after 2-3 months into grow and dies, or worse, you *have* to kill it because its a male. (Now I think I got a male, but I'm happy. Was praying for a son to carry on the family name.)

Plant a few more just in case. They are only a week or 2 off, can be a good harvest !!

It just washed after a watering? Dude man, your *fine* as long as it didn't dry out. No brown on the tap root?
If not, give me a call in about 4 months!

seeds dont usually need a lot of water ,i do soak mine prior to planting in coco coir ,i have had the same problem at first i used to overwater ,and the fuckers ended up on the surface ,but be gentle put them back under or cover with more soil or what ever ,and they are pretty hardy little fuckers, but take it easy on the water ,and dont add nutes until they are a few weeks old ,i just leave mine alone and they come up after i have pre soaked them then only add a wee bit of water until they start to grow a few sets of leaves ,seems to work o.k for me.

Ok,the seeds have sprouted!!Everything good,they leaves havent fully grown though,but you can kinda see the first set of single blade leaves...how long till 3 finger leaves come up??

Ok..lets say I veg the plants under 24 hours the entire time,then I simply set outside to flower?Will this work??Will the change of light cycles be enough to force flowering??I live in florida,around what time should I set outside to flower?Late July?Early augusty?is it too late in the season??oh and theyr bag seed which really sucks..that means they should grow slower than most right??considering i got it outta a really bad regs bag??

I think people get too carried away with the germ thing. The fact is they really are a weed.I would look at it and judge for yourself. Does it look o.k? Even if it don't I would put it back in the soil and try. You really have nothing to lose. But if you give up on it then all will surly be lost.

Dude, read the growfaq and stop freaking, the worst thing you can do for your plants is worry and micromanage them to death.

Also, bad midgrade weed is a lot of long flowering mexicans, they might not flower even if you start using a good photoperiod, plus the product from a sack of shwag might not be worth the risks of growing.

Spending only 100-200 dollars can get you a very decent indoor setup and that includes 50 bucks for kickass genes, something with a megashort flowering time so you can build you stash as soon as possible and start chilling the fuck out.

I'm not an outdoor guy, but I think I just read that in the northern hemisphere that about mid August the light schedule is about the 12/12.

Next summer I want to try a guerrilla grow. Gotta find a spot.

Damn,is shwag bag seed really not worth growing?I dont know if you guys read my thread where I was asking for seeds,bit I really want to grow ANYTHING!As long as its cannabis,hell I even have some healthy lookin pepper plants just to "scratch the itch"of growin!!So,far the seedlings are doin good,Ima have like 5 or ten plants in total,and ofcourse Im still workin on my setup,currently there in a cooler in my closet,with 2 cfls in the cooler,one is 30W,the other is 24w....is this enough light for seedlings??

I plan on buying more lights soon,and I wish I knew where to find those y adapters!!Ima check out the local WalMart!!!

On the other note,what things can I fing at WalMart?Garden wise?Any decent nutrients or addtives there,or soil??

Hey, thanks man. I'm glad you appreciated it! I tend to just not post at all because I ramble so much, and I don't want to sound like a smart ass who thinks she knows it all... honestly, I don't know all that much about growing bud... but I've had a few successes, and I can grow the shit out of just about anything else, haha! I'm glad that what I told you was helpful to you. Just remember, the most important thing when dealing with plants is to leave em be. Don't love em to death. That's how the majority of the failures become failures... we just do too much to them instead of allowing nature to take it's course. If plants needed a human there to take care of them, there wouldn't be any plants! The places that are overgrown with the most beautiful plants are the places where there is the least amount of human interference. So let nature do what it's best at.

I read that your seeds did finally sprout... what's happened since then? Have you had any luck with them? Just curious to find out because I remember you were really upset at first. I hope everything turned out great with them, and that you're reaping the benefits now, lol! All the luck, man!

So how did your sprout make out? I know this thread is old and didn't relize it till after reading it. All this freaking out, I hope it made it? I know the feeling. When my first one sprouted I was so worried. My wife kept telling me I will love it to death. I finaly backed off after hearing the shit over and over from her. She also made alot of fun of me. LMAO. Just relax. It's a plant. There billions of seeds(just a guess) out there to be had any day of the week. Thats the way I look at it now.
