carne is right. least you could do is pay for the gas, which you never said how much it was. if you gave him 40 bucks to go around a couple places i could see you wanting your priorities first.. but to give him 10 or twenty bucks gas, that does nothing for the time wasted to cart your ass around. so to only be worried about him wasting YOUR time, sounds like your just another selfish kid in LA

Between Farmington and Durango on the state line is a little convenience store and next to that is a tiny building that can hold maybe one or two people. All it has is a drive through. A lady makes burritos as you wait. My favorite is the carne adobada. It's about an hour drive from my house. I have been known to make that trip just for her burritos.

I am going to have to look at a map you can go from NM to L.A. in an hour?

Kinda thought that was impossible.... I like the idea of NM..wide open .scenic, cheap..but it seems in the middle of nowhere...granted all my NM info comes from breaking bad and a magazine I read years ago that said humingbirds migrate there.

Was it mentioned how much money was given??? Who's to say it wasn't more than enough for the gas and get the guy back home?

The money involved is chump change I assume..otherwise dude would have called a taxi if he was going to spend 50-60 on gas.

From what you have written it seems to me that the "Fat Mofo", was actually using you. If he is indeed over 400lbs, then he might be suffering from the lack of attention that you might get from women and thought it would be fun to hit on a couple girls. Actually the more I read you post it seems the "Fat Mofo" just wanted to hang with a couple of cool "Thin Mofos" and gotten a psycho instead.

That is scary shit.. I am no fan of some technology and that is one of them...I bet in 5 years they can zoom in and see a face from those sat dishes.

Technology has surpassed that already, we live in a need to know era and as "regular" people we're outta the loop and most of the newest technology will never see civilian eyes....even FB and other sites use facial recognition programs not too mention city security cameras, so you can just imagine what technology we don't know about....Orwell's 1984 seems to hit a little close to home don't you think.
