it really is scarey. they ride in "packs", all chit-chatting. i toot my horn to warn them i'm coming and the flip me off. i am soooo close to stopping, but chewing out 10 of them won't stop the 100 behind them. i just grip the wheel and keep my eyes on the road. i slow down on all the blind corners and do my best to not hit them. but like i said, they dodge right out into traffic.
just posting this i feel like i'm bringing on some bad karma. this really does scare me.
they had an "event" a few weeks back. 100's of bikes everywhere. random people standing at intersections directing them, not the traffic. they were stopping 50 mph traffic to let bicycles blast thru the intersections. not 1 cop anywhere. i don't think you can just set up some cones on the highway and call it good. i think you need some permits and police escorts. but i could be wrong.
