Hey, if you do some testing PLEASE start a thread! i'd love to see the difference as much in "person" as I can
Will do. I've already taken 7 cuttings and I'm trying to see if I can get them to root under 12/12 light just for the hell of it.

Forgot to note I moved the #2 and #4 cutting into soil. Cut 1 branch off #2 and #4 and trying to root them. This way, when these current cuttings root I should be roughly 3-4 weeks into flowering and then have roughly a month for the new cuttings to root. hoping to get some kind of perpetual before spring where I will be growing outside!

Just as the lights are about to turn off I stick my head in the closet to see if #1 and #3 have show clearer signs of sex and.... #1 is a MALE! Just as I expected. I will now isolate it in hopes within a week the pollen sacks have grown and start nutting all over for pollen collection

Well a few things.... The cutting's I first took (one of each plant) I saved #2 and #4 as they are females. They have been moved into cups with some dirt. seeing some roots come out. I tried taking the plastic bag off them but they started wilting... Thinking I need more time for the roots to develop more... I also took more cuttings from the 2 females. They are in a cup of vermiculite and in the same "dome".

Also, bud formation is starting to happen. I am thinking I should not have defoliated since I now have more space... We will see how the end turns out

When you say week 3 of flowering, I'm guessing you mean the very beginning of week three? I would consider that to be two weeks of flowering.
Yes, you are right. Beginning of week 3 :P how are you plants doing farmer?? haven't seen them in a while1

Hey bro! Glad you asked. I just did an update on my thread with a few pics. I wish I wasn't using a cheap camera phone. Hoping my good camera gets back from repair shop before harvest.

So the scrogging didn't go so well? It looks like it would be a lot harder than some make it seem. I kept going back and forth trying to decide whether to trim or not, and opted to not. I figure if I trimmed and got a good yield and quality, then I would never want to grow without trimming. So This grow is all about what happens with no trimming. Except for the one plant which I topped one time. It's a bushy mess though.

I'm thinking moderate trimming kinda like what you did would be a good idea.

Don't you just love the smell when you give those pistils a little squeeze and sniff your fingers? Makes me want to eat a bud or two...

Yeah but I am not trying to touch anything... Letting them do their things. Starting to see trichomes now so should be nice in a few weeks

guys I hate to steel this post . high tech garden. DONT buy there. they will not honor any warranty . I had some serious issues with there store in taylor Michigan. the boss (Karl) would not cover my warranty on a light fixture, corporate took about 2 weeks to respond . mean time I had there superior grow supply . fix the light for free cost them 4 bucks. and in the process gaining a life time customer . the damn sockets were breaking on the t5 lights on 3 lights. so the bulb would fall on top of your plants. 6 months left under warranty I was told to fuck off by karl.

Sorry for your bad experience. I've had this lamp since '08 and it's still working great. Where is this Superior Grow Supply located?
