It sounds pretty lame -- he's not recognized as president so how could he claim executive privilege? Except, for Trump, a valid claim is not a requirement for lawsuits.

Perhaps, he's not trying to win the case. Perhaps its a delaying tactic, trying to hold off release of his records until 2023. Or maybe he's getting ready to mount another violent insurrection and end this troublesome democracy for good.

it honestly sounds like more of a delay tactic to me......the more he delay's, the more he can shred and get rid of people......

That man is a hero. And the lady that died was a domestic terrorist.

Jeebus H Johnson!

I made it almost all the way through that article and once again was clubbed over the head by what a ridiculous fucking 2 ring circus the US government and legal system are.

This bureaucrat may be asked to testify about this while Biden may executive privilege that but this doctrine may apply so that will be contested in court, but the Archives demand that any records be requested in the proper manner and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on.

THIS SHOULDN'T BE NEWS! News is when something is actually accomplished, this is just clickbait distraction bullshit.

And it is your fault, my neighbors.

Talking about which member of congress is going to be on which committee like it's a bloody reality show, getting caught up in personal details about officials' lives that don't matter to the task at hand, debating esoteric points of law like you have a clue as each new partisan squabble develops.

Distracted from the reality that this investigation will likely drag on until long after the Orange Shitstain has died a natural death in his palace.

Distracted from the reality that they've been arguing about the fillibuster longer than many of you have been alive, yet nothing has changed.

Distracted from the reality that in spite of the fact that mass shootings have become a common part of American life, and there is endless debate and posturing, no significant gun laws have been enacted.

Distracted from the reality that vicious violent LEOs with no regard for the law are being rehired two towns over after being fired for something that should have put them in prison.

Distracted from the reality that two corporations that call themselves political parties run your country.

Can't understand why the US justice system is such a mess. It's not like there are lawyers who refer to legally obtained and served search warrants as "unethical". :wall:

She doesn't represent any defendants in this case.

"unethical" ? How so? Trumpers will say anything.

I was really happy/relieved when Milley came out and told us all that in public.
