He knew he had to hang around and not be whisked away for security reasons to cover someone's ass. I don't think they would have driven him to the woods and capped him! There are bad element in the SS, but Trump sickened a couple of hundred of them with covid and threatened their families with illness. I'm sure Trump has far more enemies among the SS than Biden who probably knows many of the senor people personally. Joe probably knows his SS detail by name, people are not furniture to a man like Joe, Trump treated them like disposable trash, continues to rip off the service at his golf courses and most know it.
