hey another question.... is the top and bottom separated by a shelve that can be removed ????

Cool a clamp light huh. I have decided to head to HD tonight so i will have some updates on what I find. As for SLK, the hole goes into the crawl space in my wall. This keeps the exhaust from sounding like a jet engine. I also don't get recycled air into the intake.

As for Johnny, IDK. Haven't really seen anything like this elsewhere and this is my first grow. I'd like to see and ounce off each plant. I doubt I could get anything more than that with the amount of lumens im gonna give them (round 20000 total) and since its my first grow and I'm bound to fuck up

oh and the bottom shelve is permentaly separated. Can't make it one big cab, which would be badass. I do plan to do the bottom compartment like the top and use that to keep clones.

yup that's what i was trying to see about the top and bottom, but using the bottom for veg and clone would be nice as well

Week 2 Mid-Week Update: So I went to Lowe's and picked up a y splitter and two 40 watt (daylight) CFLs. I positioned them right by the HPS so I hope that give off enough light for those bitches. The two colors of the CFL and the HPS look cool together. Gave the girls a good watering with distilled water with a 1/16th (hardly any at all) serving of FFBB.

mk i'll cut the nutes...

and they are both big buddha. Before I started to germ I decided to do both BB because if I fuck up with sour cream on my first try, i am out all SC cause I only got one.

Week 2 Mid-Week Update: The girls look like they are feeling much better with the two 42 watt CFLs. I also decided to turn off the HPS to save so money. Keeping the soil evenly moist with semi daily feedings of plain distilled water. The top of the girls are about 3 inches away from the light and I took them off their 24hr light schedule and put them on 19/5. Temps are hovering around 80-82 degrees.

How do they look? Little stretched I think

Also, do you think that they will quit stretching now that they are getting CFL light and not HPS?

yes I think they will...also go ahead and put more dirt in the cups taking it all the way to the cotyledons ( first set of leafs)..

done but I did have a little bit of a fuck up

I was filling a cup with more dirt and knocked one over... wasn't happy about it. Only about a quarter of the soil in the cup and it wasn't a very violent fall...

just scared the hell outta me...gotta be more careful

yeah don't hurt the babies..lol...what really sucks is when your lights fall on your plants and crush the heck out of them...
