hey thats cool, if your happy with it stick with it i guess. its not like it really matters. even poor quality sift is bangin
you got any "big" slabs?
just to show color and clarity, its hard to see in those thin strips..no back lit stuff either. makes it even harder
i always liked this pic (thundercat), personally i use 99 but it doesnt really make a dif, this was 91 with warm air blowing over, you could see it wax on that edge

Way too hot...too fast there... its all about the tempuring process

ya i wanna say the air blowing at it was 120°f
and powder compressed by hand with the parchment
like i said i dont use any heat. vapor pressures increase non linearly meaning the more heat you use the more terps are lost relative to the solvent. they generally have a much lower melting point, giving a wet or gooey look. so good
i do it in here and behind that door for my typical crystal product
I usually start at ~ 78° and let it sit and conglomerate.
a good 12 hours is needed for my desired product. as it reduces I drop the temp to ~50° just before saturation and add a fan or slight vac. I then steadily drop the temp to ~30° as it precipitates
but i judge as i go, with different profiles in each strain the process needed isnt the same
anyway good luck. love my fellow iso users
