iso/everclear slabs... fun with trim

I am of interest on this
Freeze trim, and iso overnight... fill mason jar with trim about 3/4 full.. then iso 1/2 full.... shake VIGOROUSLY for 10 second... pour mix in 3 stacks of coffee filters in a pyrex pan... pick up each coffee filter and close the top and squeeze the iso into the pyrex.. . It will take 3 to 4 (3 stacks) to empty the jar.... then put pyrex on top of toaster at 150-200 degrees and place a fan blowing the alcohol off the top of the pan and cook for 2 hours..... make sure all liquid is cooked off and scrape up onto parchment. .. then put the parchment direct on warm toaster and fold a few times then let settle and freeze. ... everclear needs to be a bit lower temp(110) but still a faster initial cook

Requires
Toaster oven
Mason jar
91% iso or better
Coffee filters
Pyrex pan
Parchment paper
Razor blade
Soda or beer can.
freezer

You guys evap this stuff in your house with a fan blowing across? There is a warning on the label of iso that says not to breath in the fumes...I would advise against doing that, best do it in a well ventilated area or outdoors.

You can also do your cook in a bathroom and flip the extractor fan on. I have 5 years at this... no blow ups hahaha the trick is to not be a crack head with a lit joint in your mouth over the dish

no doubelt, it looks pretty good.
that "stability" is from the heated purge

if anyone was wondering. that tootsie roll i threw up waz my old avatar. now i my sig with pinworm lol. pressed the white shavings and thats what yielded. gooey goodness and very nice color. it was orange

heres some more, i did a heated purge on some of it, and got a shatter and a wax went even deeper red almost purple. was a 26week landrace sativa, taken slightly early for really all clear trichs. and no nitrogen a few weeks prior. amazing flazor. the landrace high apparent. this has been some if my favorite hash to date and ive tried lots, including bho's co2 real "hash" etc. i shouldve kept that girl aroundDSC_0220_zps350770a0.jpg

one of the reasons i asked if you checked c&e was beause many of us dont like to use heat when we dry/purge. it does make it easier to handle, but you lose alot of flavor.

not trying to change your methods, but we all have room to improve. ask anyone in c&e, weve all grown drastically since being here. and ive been doing this the early 90's growing almost 20yrs. still getting better

check out "qwizos qwiso" a thread there. my first post is how i tell people to make a typical qwiso.
like my first pic here, what i do now or farther down on that page is how i make crystalline hash oil like my second pic.
the meth/salt one lmao. but most people dont have the means to make, and a little more chemistry i suppose involved

Its why i use a toaster oven top... you set it to 200ish and the pyrex never sees 150. If you dont like heat then use a germ mat and let it cook all night. Both methods stay far under decarb.... i have so many people tell me NEW methods and still cant get my results. Ya i know a bit about chemistry and organic chemistry and i have a few friends that like to play with this stuff they have shown me the pink cbd "meth" b4 too hahaha its cool for some but in my mind your are making nature really unnatural... i dont even like extraction as much as good flower.... i just know how to do it...2016-01-21 05.26.56.png

ya i was gonna metion the thumb nails, its a little harder on folk with mobiles to view, its slower.

i normally dry, at/with...
2000 cfm at 77°f, 1 pint 99% iso takes ~26-28hrs. from pour to scrape when doing a traditional qwiso.

but if your open to suggestions. i would used staged filters leading up to 2 coffee filters, say swap out the masin jar lid with a mesh screen to hold back some olant matter as it will sit longer in the coffee filter and dirty up the extraction . if yiu dont have a buchner funnel it will also help your product alot.

oh and we typically dont advise parchment paper, it leaches.

actually someone put up a video here recently that showed the film on parchment sort of flocculate out.

we all have room to improve
