Is This a good meter?

Pretty much tired of guessing, I can test my ph with my stupid vial tube, but honestly thats still guessing lol.

So is that meter worth the 80? I've never used one, but if it
's accurate Im gonna say thats easily worth 80.

Htg wants like 125 for pretty much the same thing lawl.

yes that is a good meter. check into HM digital also. they have a good meter for about the same price.

i have never owned that model hanna, so i can't give an opinion on it. i have had other cheaper models that i wasn't happy with.

Also, whats up with this one? It's like 20 bucks, probably a POS but hey ya never know, somethings can be bought cheap and good quailty. Anyone ever use it lol.

i thought you were looking for a ph meter, after further review. i have owned the 2nd one, the hm ec3 for 4 yrs never had a problem with it. I bought mine from the hydro shop for 50 bucks. oops

im looking for something that will read PH and PPM. Thats not horribly expensive.

I just read over the ec3, looks to me like that one dosen't read ph.

that meter is going to run ya closer to 130 before shipping, so either way the total cost is the same whether one meter or 2. check out dchydro.com the have pretty decent prices and if ya buy a few supplies at the same time the shipping isn't so bad. will atleast give ya a price scale to go off of.

If you getting a meter make sure its water proof. you'd feel like a dumb ass if anything happened I assure you.

i dropped mine in my res on the beginning of a holiday weekend. took forever to get a new one, and they have all been waterproof since.

I own four of them, one for each room. As they get older you need to recalibrate them with the 7.0 Rebcalibrate Solution its pretty cheap... It's a must to keep it accurate. Some of them r just water resistant, so be careful. Ive dropped one in a 60gallon resevior end up duncking for it. LOL Peace & happy Growing!

i actually rarely use my tds meter. i would buy the best ph meter ya can afford and go with the 20 dollar tds meter.

here is the ph meter I was talking about. It's water proof and has a replaceable probe. Not just a throw away meter.

no problem, just rinse it off after every use keep it stored wet & you should be very happy with that meter.
