They are just natural plant growths. they're more prominant in some strains than others. I thought the same thing when I first saw those. There are one or two replies in my journal.
How old is your plant.

Well actually at the end of each branch on the newest node its starting to get a bright colored pod type thing with all these hair like leaves around it that are bright colored like the pod...doesnt smell so dank but ill get good pics of it after a few days when they get bigger, idk if that means female cause this strain is way different then the one in my last grow
