Is it wrong for a Christian to Smoke Weed.

I am a christian and feel the same. I do believe he is real jesus christ and to know jesus just won't make life simpler for you.
But it helps to know that you acknowledge him and try and follow his obiedience that he has set for us. Yes it is hard because i still do sin but he has gotten me out of real bad situations that i could of have been in. As for weed i love to smoke it but not to the point to where it can harm others. I like it because it calms me down as i have anxiety and i seem to function on some good indica/sativa blend...:blsmoke:

Okay. I don't know what others opinions are but to be honest I believe in God. I'm not sure why sometimes but I can still believe. I don't think it's bad. Don't believe those shove it down your throat christians who say it's a drug and wrong. They just mean don't put weed in front of God and they do it in a different way. I smoke. I love smoking. I just don't use it as an Idol. I think if you don't use it like that it's fine.

If you're trying to be a hardcore modern Christian, then yes, it's wrong.

If you go by the Bible, then no.

If you are going to be a disiple of christ you need to show others how christians are logical, rational people. If people see christians as trying to condemm a plant in accordance with ignorant political policy, then that person will have difficulty coming to know Jesus. Stoners for Christ UNITE!!!

very well stated. I'm not gonna discuss my beliefs, suffice it to say...they're different than yours. I'm not concerned with christians or jesus, but I'm knowledgeable about it. I agree with you 100%. jesus did drink wine, a drug, I believe he did...but anyway...where does it say, in the commandments, thou shall not smoke the cannabis?? I do belive the bible has a passage about overindulging, but I'm not sure if it was jesus who talked about it. that means ppl who are drunks or super fatties probably 'sin' more than you. so saying, if you're smoking everyday, that may be considered overindulging. smoking is unhealthy, 'smoking' could be thought of as a sin. you may want to seek an alternative method of imbibing. vaporizing or eating/cooking.
you know, you can talk to a pastor/minister about it. you don't even have to talk to your own, go to a strange pastor. they won't tell anyone, but you'll get another opinion, from a 'holy' point of view.

The bible is clear as to what God gave man to enjoy...
Marijuana is fine in moderation...the paranoia turns into gratification and thankfulness the closer I am to the Lord. I try to stay there but this is the closest thing to church I get.

Scripture is also clear as to charging USURY...which is actually ANY interest charged on money. %**k boom and bust and fractional reserve banking.

Folks are so fooled today they march w/ teabags and shit in the street (cause of the revolution was colonial scrip taken away, debt based money in its place [1764], not tea tax) they're shouting protests such as "the government is [enter condemnation]", comments so poorly thought out and generalized...i hate MSM makes me want to drink whiskey straight. 1948, 1967, 2009? I can't even keep up with the prophecy that has gone down just in the past year...faster every day

I believe that the only thing religion as brought on Earth is War, so I am completely against it, and I think you should stop worring about other people and start to worry about yourself, if you like smoking weed, smoke it man.

Alright if you truely beleive in god then tell me this. Would god put a natural plant on this earth that he doesn't want you to use?

Now dont give me that "well heroin comes from opium poppies" becasue heroin is a FINELY refined form of the plant, to make heroin you need to exploit the plant, and when you inject yourself with it you need more and more, its really addictive.

But marijuana, its just a plant, a freakin plant that grows in the ground. And its not addictive, it doesnt make you violent, if anything it promotes happyness and peace, what god probably wants.

I don't completely agree with that. Everyone looks for guidance in all things.

Say you have an idea to build a growbox, but you have no idea about how big it should be, how many ventilation ports you need, etc... Anyways, what would you do? Would you decide on your own with no knowledge at hand, or would you go to a source other than your brain to find the knowledge?
