Is It Possible to Send Weed in the Mail?

As has been said before, yes it can be done. I've done it four times, each in vacuum sealed bags, anywhere from 1/8th to 2 ounces. I simply arrange all of the bud inside of the bag so that it doesn't pancake, vacuum seal it, and then vacuum seal it again as a precaution. I wrap it in a t-shirt and send it in those padded sealed envelopes that cost about 89 cents. I usually send it UPS, but it's probably personal preference.

That is not true about them needing a warrant. I once shipped a very small chunk of heroin in the US Mail from Santa Cruz, CA to Grass Valley, CA. I hid it pretty well behind a photo glued to a piece of paper. The letter never got to my buddy in Grass Valley - but I was young and stupid and didn't really worry about it.
About two weeks later a Scotts Valley (santa cruz county) cop showed up at my front door. He was asking me all sorts of crazy questions and seemed to know all of my room mates by name.
Then...very dramatically...he pulled out my letter and the envelope...sealed in a plastic evidence bag. He said that the post office in scotts valley xrays all mail processed in the facility. He began to question me about dates and tried to trip me up. He stated he thought I was the ring leader of a heroin ring? I told him that I gave the letter - unsealed - to one of my friends buddies to mail because he wanted to stick a note in there too. I told the cop I had no idea he planned to put drugs in the envelope.
I called my buddy in Grass Valley to tell him what happened and about 2 seconds later the cop called saying he needed my buddies phone number in Grass Valley so he could confirm the story.
And that was the last I heard of the a-hole cop.
Do not send drugs/pot in the US Mail.

Also keep in mind that is perfectly legal, and ok, and expected for cops to lie to you during questioning. But you can't lie to them.
never use coffee its the first thing they look for I know (somebody) who ships it in a vac sealed bag inside small tide container make sure you try to reseal the bottle also after vac sealing the bag use a couple ziplocks and also in the box put a open box of dryer sheets and maybe a small thing of bleach so everything fits together and only use fedex

sending it through the post office was just a plain stupid idea.. go through ups or fed ex and keep it in a small jar in a box inside of a larger box with packing peanuts in both. someone i know sent 3/4 oz home across the country, no problem...

You guys need to know what your talking about first. Of course its a gamble. But, if you stay secure, smart and are associated with the right people there shouldn't and would'nt be any problems. I dont know about you but people in the states all the way to international rely on this to make a hard living. Thousands upon thousands of packages will pass through your states post offices daily containing illegal products. I know people who recieve packages daily to weekly and were not talking about a g or 2. You need to know the system, stay smart, be safe. Or better: Happy Growing

I'm really confused by how this is apparently so risky. Unless you're really dumb, there's no way the thing can be traced to the sender, and then if they intercept it, there is shit all they can do to the receiver either.

There is always a chance the weed may get found,but my advice would be make sure that gloves are worn when around the enverlope and do not lick the stamp and post from a differant area of the town.One with a differant postal address.By useing glove's no prints will be got and use a damp cloth to wet the stamp or dna can be got from it.All of this may sound over the top for 10 grm,but i am answering this with the chance the person sending you the stuff may be growing.Better to be safe than sorry,also make sure that the weed is put into a sealer bag that is air tight,and if possible put something that smells a little in the bag but don't over do it carpet freshner will work,Or even use after shave to seal the enverlope.If neither of you are growing then there is not so much of a worrie,if it does get picked up just deny all knowage of who has sent it you and it could be someone with a grudge agaist you.The police will not be able to prove a thing has long has there is no traces....................................tyke..............................postman pat............................

i think theres way too much paranoia regarding this subject im willing to bet as long as it was sealed so no one could smell it you would be fine. i would just put it in some gift and use some fake names . people use beans and talk about motor oil but seriously unless this is going through customs i wouldnt be scared. they mail millions of packages a week its not like they have a team of weed sniffing dogs on a line scanning every package only ones from an unusually large suspect package would get any attention even those odds are slim you better be moving pounds. i would just take one of those 7 dollar boxes from usps i would take a new shirt and a hat and triple bag it and roll the bag into the shirt and let it go. the amount of resources to look at all the packages and have them sniffed for weed would be monumental and expensive.

would a manilla envelope work? but it cant be some peanut butter and big stuff gots to be something small and discreet so the compressed bud can fit..

vacuum pack it in a jar and wrap in bubble wrap. include something like a box of tea. coffee they tend to watch for as its a known method so don't use that. wipe the jar down after sealing it using alcohol to make sure there is no resin on it. use a priority shipping box.
