is it possable to have too many bubbles????

i read somone were that if u have to many bubbles that ur roots dry out or something....now im new to hydro so i dont no my self can anyone shed some light?

I suppose it is possible in theory to have too many bubbles - if your res was like a churning whirlpool or something. But practically more bubbles is good. What you really want is enough spash and mist in the space between the water level and the bottom of the netpots that the pots are wet at least halfway up.

from my lttle bit of knowledge the more air the better as long as its not like retarded amount splashing around in your tank. I run two dual airpumps with 8 ten in stones in one 14g tank. not saying that is needed I could probably get by with only two but I personally like lots of little bubbles vs few big ones.

That's good bubbles! and with that you have no need for a water pump and feeder tubes.

You can't have too many bubbles. If you fill a 5 gallon tub full of water, and 50 airstones (somehow) there is still 5 gallons of water in the bucket. Remember all of those bubbles pop and spray water. If you were able to get too many bubbles I would be shocked.
