is it ok to transplant during flowering? i am using rootmaker pots and i need to put my babies in flower but they are not ready to transplant just yet....maybe in a month. if i put them into flower now and see that they need a transplant mid-flower is this ok? will it stress them too much and fuck up my girls?

thanks.

how far into flowering are they?

are they actually flowering??? or are they still in 'transition'?

need to know how far into flowering they are.

-Never mind.. I see now. You haven't started flowering them yet? If you haven't flipped them over to 12/12 yet, then yeah your good... your plants will be alright.

i'm re-potting this weekend, will give 1 more week veg to get comfy in the new containers, and then flip to 12/12 i believe. The guru is right imho.

? i cant transplant yet, the pots i am using are doing their job of air pruning the roots and wont be ready for transplant anytime soon and i need to put them in flower or they will be too big....all i am asking is if it's ok to transplant during flower? i understand its recommended not too, but whats the real story who out there has done it?

As guru said, if they aren't too far into flower you should be ok. Like maybe the first 2 weeks.(?) i've never tried it though personally.

I have transplanted half way through flowering and it was OK.... BUT, You have to do it in a way that doesn't disturb the roots. Treat it as if you are performing surgery. You want to avoid as much stress on the plant as you can. The strain I did it with was very hardy, Bubblegum. I'm not sure all strains will handle it the same.

If you aren't more than a couple weeks into flowering you should be fine. Just do it sooner rather than later as root growth does come to a halt eventually.

root growth stops? im using 1 gallon root maker air pruning pots. i have grown 4ft plants in them and no where near danger of being root bound. Just hoping i don't need to transplant, it wouldnt be until later in the grow i think...they are onlt 12-18 inches now.
