Is Girl Scout Cookies a strain to keep?

I just started growing the infamous girl scout cookies strain. I've got 3 going and the growth is impressive. I have not flowered any yet though, and do not know what to expect regarding yield, quality of the high, and bag appeal. I've never personally smoked it nor have I ever seen the plant or dried flowers from a harvested plant. I'm in the dark here hoping someone can shed some light on girl scout cookies. I cloned 24 of them for the next cycle because my expectations are quite high presently. If you've grown GSC I'd greatly appreciate your opinion. I made the mistake of running the wrong strain before more than once and it pays greatly to do your research and ask around :) I'll snap some pictures of the vegging ladies. Here is the clone tote. The 2 rows in front are all GSC. Vibrant growth. I just hope the high and smoke quality is as impressive. 3rd row is Moonshine Haze #1 x Ghost Train haze #1. 4th row is Black widow. Final row is Jager and Critical Mass. I might yank half the BW's and replace them with Maui Waui. The BW I just harvested is very potent, but a lot is left to be desired in the flavor department. I'll flower a single plant 1 more time. If it fails to meet my standards on the next flower cycle she's gone. MW is what I like to call an "all around performer." She's got bag appeal. She's got an amazing flavor and aroma. And the high is perfect. Not too much. Not too little. Just right. The yields are very impressive. Fantastic commercial strain.

Is your Maui Waui from Nirvana? Just curious if any other seed banks are working with it. GSC is a good strain for what it is, typical high thc hybrid, which is what 90%+ of the market wants. A family member of mine swears by it for medical use-i mean, he really, really loves it lol. Personally, I'd go for the Durban Poison itself, rather than crossing it with anything.

Jefferson State Seed Co. is where I got my Maui Waui. Oregon based ownership and shipping. I'm glad to hear the market will respond positively to it. It's no fun sitting on pot that ain't moving :)

I recently got some durban poison and gsc from a friend, said it was all nirvana seed, and it hasn't really been much to write home about. Doesn't even smell like GSC lol everything runs on hype these days

GSC is in my top 3 favorite strains to smoke. It’s super potent with that expansive smoke that will hit you in the forehead. The flavor is subjective, personally I love it.

It has an amazing bag appeal but the yield isn’t spectacular. It’s a lanky strain with dense little clusters of buds.

I almost prefer animal cookies (GSC x Fire OG) over GSC. Tends to improve the yield and structure a bit and add a complimentary flavor profile.

This is the GSC leaning pheno of Forum GSC x Stardawg

It's all in opinion!
I might ask that if the source is certified as the real thing. Then it's up to you.

Personally - No.

To many wiz bang strains out there.. You have to have the right pheno and many are hard to get your hands on.

Skies over Paris - Stuffed French Toast - original GG#4 - Sunday Driver - Dead Head Chem - Gelato
Then there is Bruce's Monkey OMG!

It's all up to you - What do YOU like?

SUNDAY DRIVER - doing her thing....

Goddam Doc, bout fell outta my chair when I saw all that frost. You're preaching gospel about getting the right phenotype on a given strain. I ordered some Blue Dream from HSO a few years back hoping to recreate the sativa dominant experience I had a few years earlier that left me desperately wanting more. Total turd. All of them were indica phenotypes and the resulting flower was nothing like the sativa dominant BD I was looking for. I've got 3 BD's going from Garden of Eden from Seedsman. I'm sure hoping they don't leave me with the same disappointment HSO did. I was so shitty about that HSO order I would never order anything from them again. Fuckers :)

Nigga I gotta 8th grade education. What do you expect ;)
I was only trying to help. I see these two words continually misused on the net. I figure there are a great number of people on the net for whom English is their second language. You, on the other hand, have no excuse. You didn't stop learning after the eighth grade. For example you learn from this forum.

Just to be clear you had and have nothing to contribute regarding the topic of this thread, but felt the need to correct the grammar of a self admitted lifelong member of the white trash community whose family went on Jerrry Springer to solve family disputes? I just wanna make sure we're on the same page here partner. I'd aim higher for your target next time. Got a feller in the white house that could use your grammer assistance. I'm a lost cause sir.

Anyway, here’s some gmo x stardawg from green point View attachment 47190348 weeks tomorrow the dankest smelling flower I grew so far
Man look at the ice on that lady. You can literally see the individual milky heads of each trichome. Cboat, you're gonna have to brush that dirt off your shoulders because you sir are officially big pimpin with frost like that :) I'm gonna write that strain name and seedbank down on my deep freeze so I don't forget. I'd like to give that a shot. Beautiful work sir.

That's a very pretty plant with the show of fall colors setting in. I've been scoping out girl scout cookies pictures from different gardeners just before harvest. One was a larger commercial room. None had GSC flowers as large as yours. Fine work you put in there soldier. Seeing a large outdoor cannabis plant loaded with fat sticky flowers just on the cusp of harvest as the deep purples and yellows set in is absolutely magnificent to look at. One of nature's most beautiful treats.
