If it is an indoor grow just pick off the few pillars as you find them. That should be very limited cause you do not have butterflies or moths to lay eggs indoor. For outdoor treat weekly with BT or Spinosad

Hey Irish, sorry if this is too close to the top of the page, but the thread was slow?

I've been busy with summer work and a bit lazy with logging, but here are some pics of my latest 395w GLH grow with 9 plants in .8 gallon air pots. Had them in a pc grow box for a bit before going under the LED (which I had raised as high as possible until after the 12/12 switch, that was a little over 3 ft about the top of the pots)

So whats going on with GLH? Still not updating website... Did the light lab data get released? Whats going on there?

PS: I didn't have the issue with too many nodes too close together this time (last time I put popped seedlings under LED at 2ft the whole time and it was too intense). ** that said, next time I do 9 plants I might try to do that to keep them from stretching and branching out too much)
PSS: How go your grows Irish?

I have pics of my last harvest somewhere, when I find them I'll post those (the grow where some plants got the LED 2ft from seedling pop and had the insane nodes). Yeah I'm still using Earth Juice, I bubble it for 12-24 hours and never ever PH test and the plants seem fine! How are you liking the air pots? Were you sure to put them right side up (i always manage to screw this up with one of them haha). Yeah these plants I had most of them (there are 5 smaller and 4 bigger ones) had about a couple weeks of CFL (I think?).

PS: My super soil also has Mykos and Azos in it (the plants each grow have been a bit dark green at the start with some slightly misshaped 3 finger leaves, from the Azos on top of all the N already in there). What do you think of those products, I'm pretty sure you're the reason why I got them*

Hey there how are you , ive been tagging along myself , i recenty started vegging with a glh black star 240 watt led , now im thinking about making a investment for the flowering room, what brand do you recomend, and do you think it is better to use multiple smaller panels say 240 black star or the larger 500 watt panels? Thanks so much for the help and all the input for the comunity.

your vegging with GLH and black star? its seems both like do good, i am a GLH fan myself. i do think its best to run more smaller panels over a large one

hey Irish... I been real busy lately, but just wanted to say whassup and hope your grows are doing well... My aeroponic rootchamber is complete and operational, and my main worry is the chamber reaches nearly 90 degrees on a normal basis- but I know your the king of getting good results in hotter environments. I was curious, what are your rootzone temps when it gets so hot, or at least what are your nute temps?

i trim them so they dont transpire so much, it also helps put more energy into building roots then worrying about feeding the leaves. the more leaves the more work the plant has to put out to feed and cool them and it takes away from the root growth. less leaves and the big fans cut down makes them go nuts. ever get ur clones and their very young and they wilt over? transpiring is whats happing most cases, a clone dome helps a great deal also when transplanting or trying to get big roots keeps the leaves most and the roots can work on growing
so it's not because those lights fried the tips of your leaves? I've got a spectra and it is cooking my leaves my past 3 grows. Kept thinking it was nute burn or something else, but nope it's the light.
