I know, but the sugars in it sould help.

I'd never smelled molasses before, that shit is kinda stinky.....
What the fuck are you talking about? That shit is the shit!

My grandfather was a sugar farmer (managed the family's plantation on Puerto Rico, over 1,000 acres of sugar!), and I was born in the south. We likes our molasses. :D

There's a thread on molasses where a guy posted an abstract of a study on maize that demonstrates that the plant doesn't actually take up the sugars (carbohydrates). The general consensus, and the science seems to support, that the molasses (and carbo-load and similar products) are actually feeding the soil microbes more so than the plant. I haven't read the full article, but it actually jives with what's happening in marine reefkeeping where people are using different forms of carbohydrates (including, of all things, vodka) in order to bring down nitrogenous waste levels (nitrate, final result of ammonia oxidation in aquaria).

I eat molasses out of the jar. :D

Did you see where I said you were right about Flotsom and the "look". That plant is going to be a monster. It looks bigger and bushier than any of the others at that age. I want to 12/12 it at least to see gender, but I'm going to wait and let it get bigger first.

I do feel a female vibe from it though.

New pics..... :-P

First 3 are Lucinda, she's starting to get a bit of a frost to her. :weed:

4 & 5 are Flotsom who looks bushier every day, I'm hope this one is female for sure. I'm going to veg it until Lucinda is done flowering then put it into 12/12. That ought to make some buds. :-P

6 - Sadie, who has been in 12/12 for 12 days now and still no sign of gender. (go Sadie, be a chick please)

7 is Lucinda's clone that I have in veg. it is starting to show signs of new growth.

There was a second Lucinda clone, I was feeding it peppermint oil in an experiment to try to make peppermint weed, that clone was pronounced a complete failure today. :dunce: RIP L. clone #2, you were a good little soldier. :leaf:
